“Didn't realise that plates were illegal until garage went to fit them. Totally useless. Waste of money. There should be some guideline for customers.”

“The space was missed out between the fourth and fifth characters of the front and rear plates. Phoned up and the staff were really arsey about it and said it must have been my fault and I'd have to buy a new set if I wanted it corrected. Considering I've bought a lot of plates from you over the years on behalf of my customers it was a bit of a slap in the face so I'll probably go elsewhere from now on. Customer loyalty is obviously not as important as the few quid profit of two plates.”

Hi Peter, Thanks for the poor review!! Wonder whether you reviewed all your previous orders that you were happy with! I like the point you make about you missed the space yet we get the poor review. Customer loyalty is very important to us but I am sure if i bought a few cars or bikes from you and scratched one you wouldnt fix it for free. We have been going many years and this shows our customer loyalty with our long standing. If we gave away free plates for everyone who made mistakes we would not be in business anymore, All the best Mike www.myshowplates.com

“I've never purchased a registration plate/show plate which included tooling/router marks along the edge. Also, the border that I requested is 2mm greater on one edge as opposed to the other. The cost of returning the plate is around £7 therefore hardly worth the effort. Not a happy man!”

“AVOID. The colors are wrong, the letter spacing is wrong, it is not road legal despite choosing a selection that should be. I will have to buy a new set to replace these.”

“Long delay in processing my order despite following the online process, then when plates arrived they did not show BS number or the EU badge as chosen and paid extra for. All my subsequent emails were ignored. Very poor customer service”

“Awfull service , ordered a plate with design required, i was assured it will be printed as described but wasn't anywhere near that . Didn't offered refund for it”

Interesting you have ordered from us 5 times and never left a good review, the last set in June was agreed by you on the proof and you accepted the design, yet you leave a bad review. We will not be making any further designs for you as we feel this is very unfair. Mike Myshowplates.com

“Could not make plates right ( blue border showed up as black on the rear plate) so I went elsewhere and got them done properly with no problem, they could get the blue to show through the rear yellow perfection”

“After installing the plates, I quickly found that the plastic coating was 'bubbling' up off the yellow reflective layer. Contacted Myshowplates who asked me to send photos and to confirm that I installed the plates in the correct way. I sent photos and confirmation of correct installation. Not heard from Myshowplates since I sent the photos/confirmation on June 3rd, and a reminder e-mail about how we were going to resolve my problem (June 20th). Now assuming they have washed their hands of my problem.”

“Not very helpful.Made a mistake with my order,Showplates just went head with enquiring if a mistake had been made. Then I had reorder again.Would not recommend you buy your plates from this company.”

“Not very helpful with regards to advising me on details such as road legal bs details and couldn't amend 10 minutes after the order was placed so ended up begrudgingly buying 2 sets of plates”

“The design i chose on their website was not what was supplied and they point blank refused to supply what i'd ordered giving me some rubbbish about their system being automated and therefore can't be wrong and what i'd ordered was what they'd supplied even though i proved by going through the site again that the system was in error and didn't transfer my order correctly (the price didn't change when i added design elements which i was informed it should have done). Customer service? Obviously not heard of that in Jersey.”

“Very unhappy that I was not informed about the need to provide documentary evidence of ownership until AFTER payment. Purchasing rear plates for trailer - for myself and my partner. Unable to access documents for the second vehicle easily so would not have bought if it had been CLEARLY stated at the start of the process that this would be a mandatory requirement Sent emails about this - generic reply and no attempt to address issues I would not use this service again!!”
