“I took a shot in the dark ordering from National Mattress. I'd been researching mattresses for some time and decided to pull the trigger on a 12" Chirofoam Extrafirm with a 15 year warranty. I ordered online on a Sunday afternoon and had it delivered (included in the cost - I live in Guelph; it came from Mississauga) around 1 pm Monday. Pretty damn good! The delivery guys were competent, cordial, and professional. I did have to phone the help line about three times to find out things about the product that weren't mentioned on the website, and the responses were quick, clear and direct. Also, the product specs stated that it came with a removable cover, which it didn't. When I emailed support, they looked into it and said that's an error on their website. It's not the first time that's happened when buying other products online, so I can give that a pass. They did get back to me within 2 or 3 days, so, also a plus on that. As for the mattress itself, I noticed a difference the first night, for the better. Overall, I've been sleeping better, a lot less flopping around, and less overheating. Great support, but not too hard. Very happy with this purchase. I've told a couple of neighbours and my brother about the bed and National Mattress, because better sleep is a big deal, and one guy is looking at buying something soon, said he's going to look into them. Up to him, but at least he knows my recommendation.”

“The first mattress we ordered was not great - and did not really fit the description that was given online. BUT we went in a shop, tried mattresses out, picked and picked a different one. That one hasn't arrived yet, but the staff were so friendly, helpful, and understanding, the stock available was great and the prices are great. Would recommend visiting in person to test mattresses out and be sure what you're buying. Haven't received the new mattress yet but I'm sure it will be great!”

“We recently purchased a mattress from National Mattress and had a generally positive experience. The store was very close to us, which made it convenient to visit, and they had a large selection of mattresses to browse. That said, a few of the models I was specifically interested in were unfortunately out of stock and not available in-store to try, which was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, the salesperson was helpful without being pushy, giving us the space to take our time and try different options at our own pace. We never felt rushed, which made the decision process much easier. The delivery process was smooth and efficient. We were able to choose a delivery window that worked for us, and the team was polite, punctual, and professional. Overall, despite the limited availability of some models, it was a good shopping experience.”

“Great prices. Loved the ability to see the stock, filter to my choices, reviews of the mattresses were helpful. I loved seeing the firmness accuracy rating. That ultimately helped me choose the mattress I wanted. I needed to ship my purchase, it was unclear I could only select mattresses ‘in box’ on the website if shipped. I struggled to make the purchase a few times and almost gave up but the support line was very responsive.”

“When i first purchased this mattress, I did not know much about what to expect. But now I can safely say that I am getting a much better peaceful sleep. It offers good lower back support. It also has good motion isolation. Overall, I am happy with the mattress”

“We went to National Mattress to buy a mattress for a spare room. We had a great experience the first time we went there so returned a second time. They did not disappoint. We were given a quick explanation of the layout of where to find what type of mattress be left to explore. Once we had a look around we were helped in the decision making and made our purchase. We were out the door in under half an hour and had delivery the following day.”

“Bought 2 matress at the Steeles Ave North York location. There were a lot of choices to try on and found the matress we really like and looking for. Transaction was fast and thanks to Peter K. He also offered a free delivery and delivery came on time as well. Would highly recommend the store”

“I’ve been using the Chirofoam Firm Twin Mattress for a while now, and overall, it’s a solid choice if you prefer a firmer sleeping surface. The firmness level is definitely on the higher side, which is great for back support. As someone who sometimes deals with lower back fatigue, I noticed improved spinal alignment and less discomfort in the mornings. It doesn’t sink much, so if you like that “on top of the bed” feeling rather than sinking in, this mattress delivers. The foam quality feels durable and supportive, not cheap or overly soft like some budget options. It holds its shape well and doesn’t develop dips easily, which is important for long-term use. Motion transfer is minimal too, so even if someone else moves, it’s not very noticeable. That said, it might feel too firm for side sleepers or anyone who prefers a plush, cushioned feel. Adding a mattress topper could help if you find it slightly too hard. Overall, for the price, the Chirofoam Firm Twin Mattress offers excellent support, durability, and value—especially if your priority is back support and a firm sleeping surface.”
