“Order March 7th still no product or my money back. Evertime I email I get the run around. Trying to buy earth friendly products. I ordered shampoo and conditioner bars and deodorant and believe now i got scammed just like everyone else.”

“I am not one to write reviews, EVER, but this is an exception. I ordered March 8th, 2020. They sent me the email stating that package is being changed and that delivery would be slow, whatever, that's fine. Finally on the 24th I received an email that said my order was on the way, sweet! It's now 3 weeks later I have no product nor do I have the money (they make sure to take that as soon as you order). At this point I'm kinda over it and want my money back (we'll see how that goes). Honestly, wouldn't recommend.”

“This company is a scammer. I ordered products on Feb. 2 and they have not arrived. Every time I e-mail them, they make excuses for why the product has not shipped. I asked for a refund and they have not issued a credit. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I would advice others that have been scammed by them to do the same as well as report them to their credit card company.”

“I received an early email that stated that they were working on the orders. This company is a scam! I just emailed them to say please refund my money. They are still taking orders and urging people to double up to get a better price. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I LOST $125 AND NO PRODUCT.”

“I ordered a six pack of the 4oz hand sanitizer. What I actually received was 6 pouches of sanitizer filled half way. I measured them and they were only half way filed, so each one only had 2oz of hands sanitizer instead of the promised 4oz. Did you think no one would notice? I understand demand is high right now but you should give people what they pay for.”

“I ordered hand sanitizer from Habitat Botanicals and received my items after about 2 weeks. The tracking they provided did not work. The hand sanitizer came in packaging different than what is listed on their website. Rather than spray bottles, the six items came in pouches and then an additional hand sanitizer came in a bottle and they included a hand soap. The texture is very watery and has a very potent alcohol smell when you first put it on your hands. The smell goes away a few seconds later, but it does make your hands feel slightly greasy. I appreciate their efforts during this time, but would not order from them again.”

“I ordered on Feb 23 and received an email saying delivery date would be March 5 with a tracking number that didn't work. After contacting the company, I was told that it would arrive Apr 1. On Apr 4 I received a package with the WRONG items - the shipping label had the right product, but the wrong item was included - an item I don't even see for sale on their website. Everything about this process has been a disaster.”

“I put my order in a few months ago, received a tracking number in February, and since then, the only thing I can find out using the tracking number is that "The sender has created a shipping label. When we receive the item, we’ll update its status and expected delivery date." Canada Post has not received the package. I've been very patient but 2 months for delivery is not acceptable and I feel that I have been scammed!”

“I ordered some items. Credit card was charged. Gave me a tracking number. Was due to arrive April 1. Not seen it. Said it arrived. Well it went somewhere but not to my house. Want let me track it. Want let me ask questions. Waste of money and my time.”

“WHAT A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS. We are all writing the same stories here. The company is located in Abbotsford, BC. The computer generated response is nonsense. I have bought from local companies off Instagram through this pandemic with no issues. There seems to be a much larger issue with this company. Where are my items or give me back my money!”

“I placed an order 1.5 months ago, received a confirmation, saw that my credit card was charged, and then nothing. I called them and they never answered the phone. I emailed them and I got auto-responses from email addresses that I couldn't respond to (when I did I got a mailer deamon back). Finally I reached out on facebook 2 weeks ago, was told that I would be receiving tracking info later that day, but I never did. I never received tracking information and when I went back on facebook to reach out again, Habitat Botanicals had cancelled their facebook page. This company is a total scam. I just want my money back.”

“Now I believe this Company is absolutely a scam. We are expecting a newborn baby and desperately need some hand sanitizer during this pandemic. When I saw the ad on Facebook, I immediately placed order. Shortly after I received an email saying my order has been shipped with a tracking number. But there has never been any tracking information under that link and my order is no where to be found after 2 weeks. I sent email to ask the customer service but never got a response. These thieves are absolutely shameful to take advantage of people during such a difficult time. Remember, karma will come to your way!”

“I cannot comment on the quality of Habitat Botanicals' products because two months later, my order still has not been shipped. I can, however, comment on their TERRIBLE customer service and business practice. For a brief timeline, I placed my order on February 2 and got an email letting me know that orders would be slightly delayed since they were moving to their own factory. On February 13th I recieved an email saying that my order would be shipped the following day. Needless to say, it was not. On February 24th and 27th I contacted them because I was confused and had intended to use the products I ordered (like bar shampoo) on an upcoming trip. At that point I still naively hoped that there had been a mix-up and they would fix the problem for me. Instead they gave me two different excuses with vague comments about how I would get my product "soon". I tried contacting them one more time before I left for my trip, but heard nothing back. I did get an email on March 5th with tracking information. However, the status is still at "ready to be shipped" and the shipping company says it has not recieved the package yet. It is now April 1st, meaning that I placed my order about two months ago. This is completely unacceptable business. To be clear, I understand that mistakes happen. I have worked in customer service before. However, when customers make valid complaints, we address their concerns rather than dismissing them and excusing ourselves. Part of the problem is that Habitat Botanicals does not give a phone number to contact them with. This makes it so that they can give poor, vague excuses and do not have to deal with the customer's reactions. It is unacceptable. I can assure you I will never buy from Habitat Botanicals again, and I don't recomend that anyone else does either. If anything goes wrong, you can be sure Habitat Botanicals won't help you.”

“Ordered hand sanitizer March 18th. Received in March 31st. Not a bad wait time considering how busy they are. I was sad to see I was charged in USD so my tiny amount of sanitizer was $60 CAD but that's ultimately on me for not double checking.”

“About 100% sure this is a scam. Realized this after my package was "sent" but there was never any tracking data available and that was over a month ago that it was "sent" and I never received a thing. Asked for a refund and was told I can only get one if I send the product back...but I never received said product, so how can I send it back??? Scammed by fake reviews and ordered stuff I thought would be environmentally friendly, even though I found the set up of the website sketchy when I was ordering, with the pop up wheel of fake discounts and the pricing changing when actually checking out, be smarter than me and avoid this company.”
