“I purchase many dresses from this company, but twice so far after I purchase the dress i receive a call days later saying the dress is sold out, but the dress is still available for a higher price.”

“The dress is pretty. I ordered a size too Small. And paid a lot of money for it. Shame on me for not reading the fine print to learn that there are no exchanges or returns. All I needed was the next size and it would be fabulous. Instead I have to find another dress and eat the $500. Not happy. Not the way to do business”

“My experience with James Temple in Maspeth location was very good. He was polite, helpful, funny and he did his best to help me find a dress for my son’s wedding. My issue would be with the store itself. You advertise 100s of dresses on your site. However of the 15 or so dresses I was interested in trying on, there was ‘maybe’ 1 in the store. Incredible. On top of that of the 2 dresses I settled on, in order to see the colors and the fit, I would have had to purchase both, no refund. I would have had to keep both dresses or get a store credit. What would I do with the credit?! My understanding is that is also the policy for many dresses if you ordered online, again, incredible! While James was nice, I can’t say I am all that willing to recommend the store. The lack of inventory and the policies were offensive.”

“Customer service is good. Unfortunately, the quality of the clothes disappointed me, but that's not because of NewYorkDress, but because of the designers.Maybe a better description would be better. I think the return options are a bit inadequate, because despite the size specifications and ordering one size larger, dresses may not fit. Approaching it would not be bad. There are of course high customs and delivery costs for foreign countries. The delivery despite express does not arrive on time.”

“Beautiful dresses , how ever I do understand the circumstances with the covid . You company has a no refund no exchange rule . But the prices are very high for the dresses , don’t mind paying the price if it doesn’t fit at least you should offer an exchange .”

“I have made two unsuccessful purchases from New YorkDress. Both times my credit card was charged and two days later an email was sent saying sorry the dress is no longer available. This is not good customer service and I was told their inventory is not checked obviously often enough. However when I called to express my disappointment the girls on the other line were nice and kind enough and not really their fault. I would say before you give them your card info. call them first to make sure they have the dress before ordering it. I was a waste of time for me waiting on 2 different dresses 4 days later to be told i am not getting it.”

“I loved the dress, it is very beautiful. I used the measuring chart provided and it was big on me; so, order a size down. However, I was very disappointed in your false advertising. Nowhere did it say the dress cannot be returned and there is a re-stocking fee. So you want people to buy dresses and have them spend more money to exchange for a different size. While I understand it is your policy and I respect it, but it you would nice to let your customers know ahead of time before the purchase. I spend $800 on a dress and I was being charged 15% re-stocking fee to just exchange for a smaller size, that is absolutely ridiculous! Put the information on the same page of the dress so customer knows about it ahead of time and do not false advertise!”
