“I did not like the fitting of the dress, though it looked beautiful in the pictures. The fabric was too "heavy" and the workmanship lacked fineness. Generally, the quality and fitting of NewYorkDress outfits continue to deteriorate, while pricing continues to go up. Five years ago it was not like this. The outfits do not fit properly as indicated on models online, the sewing or workmanship looks rougher, and the material quality keeps on getting cheaper and awful. This started to be like this even before the global supply chain was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, NewYorkDress has excellent customer service and outstanding business ethics. They are reliable and you get your shipment on time. Returning shipments is also very easy; and all in all, they are excellent at responding to customers' queries. But revamping of clothes quality and making outfits that fit properly is urgently required. I have either returned the dresses or just hang them up in my wardrobe because they do not fit as shown on models, and also sometimes the material used is very "heavy" for the style. This is sincere feedback, without trashing NewYorkDress, as I have bought other beautiful outfits from them in the past. I will continue to be their customer, and I wish they will re-introduce shoe and bag sales as well, just like in the past. I will for sure recommend others to buy from this company, but NewYorkDress requires to look seriously into feedback from customers.”

“Return policy is very restrictive making it impossible to buy with any confidence. Measurements provided are all over the place so I had to purchase a dress that is huge or run the risk of it being too small. The cost of alterations is more than the dress.”

“Ordering dresses from New York Dress is risky. The sizes are not normal so it's really a guessing game as to if it will fit or not. While you have a zero return policy, I was appreciative that you did make a one time exception and gave me a credit. Thank you for that! However, since it was a credit, I still had to roll the dice and see if my replacement dress for my credit would fit or not. If it wasn't an $800 dress, it would not be that big of a deal. I can order the same type of expensive gown from Neimans or Saks and have exceptional return policies. I won't be ordering again because it is just not worth the risk.”
