“I don't usually write reviews but since you asked.... Last year I ordered 5 dresses from your site that I had seen on Pinterest. I noticed on some of the dresses there was a note that the dress was non-returnable. Since I hadn't worn a formal dress in years, I made sure to choose only dresses that didn't have this note. Some of the dresses were out of stock and the ones that I did receive looked nothing like the photos and didn't fit. I called customer service to begin the return process, only to be told they were unreturnable. I explained that I had only picked dresses that didn't note "non-returnable". The agent then informed me that once I pressed the "accept" button at checkout I agreed to the terms. I feel like that was false advertising! If your policy is no returns on any dress, then you either have the note on all the dresses or none of them. The way you had/have your site makes it appear as if you accept returns when you don't. I would have never ordered so many dresses if I didn't think I could return them. Now I am stuck with them .... Even if you offered a credit, does me no good. I have no occasion to wear a dress like that again. Please do better at advertising. Angela Thompson”

“Unfortunately, my experience with you was very, very bad, and they promised me the delivery day that I chose the day of the occasion. Unfortunately, they said it will arrive after 3-4 days, knowing that the delivery is supposed to be free, but I chose express delivery and paid more money! However, this big mistake happened, and this made me angry and sad a lot and caused me pressure on the last moments, as well as the service that they correspond with the customer, the beginning was great, but then they got bored of me! And I think that the customer is a customer, no matter what, especially since I did not make a mistake against anyone. I was just asking some questions, and they also did not tell me that there are also customs invoices. I wish you a good job and I hope you accept my cash and thank you.”

“I did not like the fitting of the dress, though it looked beautiful in the pictures. The fabric was too "heavy" and the workmanship lacked fineness. Generally, the quality and fitting of NewYorkDress outfits continue to deteriorate, while pricing continues to go up. Five years ago it was not like this. The outfits do not fit properly as indicated on models online, the sewing or workmanship looks rougher, and the material quality keeps on getting cheaper and awful. This started to be like this even before the global supply chain was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, NewYorkDress has excellent customer service and outstanding business ethics. They are reliable and you get your shipment on time. Returning shipments is also very easy; and all in all, they are excellent at responding to customers' queries. But revamping of clothes quality and making outfits that fit properly is urgently required. I have either returned the dresses or just hang them up in my wardrobe because they do not fit as shown on models, and also sometimes the material used is very "heavy" for the style. This is sincere feedback, without trashing NewYorkDress, as I have bought other beautiful outfits from them in the past. I will continue to be their customer, and I wish they will re-introduce shoe and bag sales as well, just like in the past. I will for sure recommend others to buy from this company, but NewYorkDress requires to look seriously into feedback from customers.”

“Return policy is very restrictive making it impossible to buy with any confidence. Measurements provided are all over the place so I had to purchase a dress that is huge or run the risk of it being too small. The cost of alterations is more than the dress.”
