“The parking is great as just a quick walk to the airport. Our only issue was that we pre-paid then at the barrier the machine tried to charge us £176. I had to go to the customer services, impressed it was open at 1 am in the morning and the staff were very helpful so we got out without having to pay twice”

“Car parking area good but starting to be very expensive these days. Costs have more than doubled lately. Inside airport, it is usually well organised, even when busy. Security area is efficient normally and fairly quick. Cafes and shops also good.”

“The Executive car parking at Newcastle is great. Very easy to book. Easy to find a space on arrival. The spaces are quite wide so bigger SUV's cars can easily park. The car park only steps from the terminal. Easy entry/exit barrier controlled ticketing system. Overall 5/5. Will recommend highly.”

“Parking was easy, ticket at barrier, plenty spaces, although further away from terminal but plenty bus stops to transfer with all our cases. Only issue we had was on return, waited so long for transfer bus back to car park, we ended up walking. Wasn't too far. Used ticket to get out. All very simple and easy.”

“The automated entrance and exit gates to the car park worked efficiently and the courtesy bus drivers in both directions were polite, friendly and helpful. Though the cost of parking seems to have escalated alarmingly siunce pre-pandemic. My wife and I have a soft spot for Newcastle Airport as that is where we first met, so we travelled to the airport early, in time to have a meal. The food was good and the airport toilets nice and clean. What let the airport down was these new security scan machines, where everything has to go in the bag, then 90% of the bags are sidelined for a manual check - 35 minutes is too long to stand holding up your trousers while your belt is detained by security pending bag check. Next time I will wear shorts with a tie-cord waist!”

“Easy entry & exit, plenty buses going round. Lost my car on recent visit and the staff were fantastic helping me find it with use of the cctv cameras to approximate where it was and even gave me a lift round the spaces until we found it. Top notch.”

“I am going to be brutally honest. we use the Meet & Greet regulasrly or at least 4-5 times per year. the service is awful. when they worked out of the the hut it was better. the meet isnt excatly brilliant we've had to stand in a queue the last 3 times going and returning and your met with a 'good morning' at best. what is the point in having to queue to hand your keys over? theyre should be someone there at all times in the car park, 'here's your ticket, pass me your keys, enjoy your holiday' when you come back i appreciate there might be people in front of you but last week there were two staff and only one lady serving with a queue of ten people!! do you have your ticket, 'yes' heres your keys your parked in D4 hope you had a good holiday see you later. I had my reservation printed off and it still took 3 or 4 minutes to find it, 4.30am and my wife hadnt had her tea yet, being impatient and wanting to battle check in, security and get a seat. we are stood while they find the reservation, give us our ticket and estbalish what flight we are on coming back. it will be easier and quicker to just park in the short stay which was slightly more expensive and why i chose meet n greet. The last 4 times we used meet n greet,the car has been parked as far away from the meet n greet building as you can get it and i couldnt get in it because it was squeezed next to other cars. we will not be using the service again but we will use the short stay car park next to the building.”
