“Newcastle airport is brilliant. It has fabulous amenities and the aspire lounge was brilliant. I pre-paid for parking but when we exited - the barrier was requesting a £90 payment although we were well within our booked time. The call button wasn’t working so my husband had to go into the building for assistance. This caused cars to pile up behind us beeping which was a nightmare.”

“I booked my car in for 13 days paid the amount for that time, while on holiday we decided to extend by 4 days so I went onto manage my booking there was no way of changing my return date and to pay extra. So I emailed the email address provided the response was I would pay £12 per day extra so thought ok I can do that. On my return put the ticket in the machine it charged me £115 extra for the 4 days after been told £48 for the 4 days. (Lessons learned ripped off)”

“have always booked short stay and never had a problem , had to amend times on booking again no problem , only issue we always have is exiting barrier and having to ring to be left out as ticket machine always wants to charge us”

“Use the Airport car park for every holiday. Car is safe, ANPR used by airport parking works a treat for pre payment. Would recommend for anyone travelling. Plenty if options for different services.”

“As a local, maybe I’m slightly biased, but I think Newcastle Airport is excellent as are all the staff. Easy to get to & excellent facilities. The VIP parking service is better than other UK airports.”

“Meet and greet isn’t exactly what it says on the tin. You park in another car park set away from the main one. Roll your cases into an office, hand your keys in either at the desk or via a self serve kiosk and then wheel your cases across the road outside into the main building. Returning, same thing wheel your cases from the main building to the office you’re given your keys after providing your details and told which space your car is in and you wheel your case across the carpark. It felt like we would’ve benefited more from spending the money on a lounge before flying. We did have a 6am outbound flight and 2pm inbound so it might be more worthwhile for later flights.”
