As happened last time, I paid for the 'upgrade' to the short term car park, on trying to leave the barrier would not raise. The car number apparently could not be used to retrive the booking, I had to find it. On finding it, I was told that was for another person!

To be honest i was a bit disappointed and annoyed, But also VERY embarrassing initial visit was fine but I returned back I got to the barriers which wouldnt go up and said my ticket had gone over allocated time so I had to reverse with a queue of cars behind me ( don't think I'll be using this service ! ! ! again)

I always book on line in advance and pre pay but each time I get to the barrier to leave the park, there's always a problem. I then have to return to your office and get one of the staff to raise the barrier.

I used the parking service. I put the ticket in at the barrier when leaving but the barrier would not lift. The lady on the helpline said it was because I had a personalised number plate. On a dark cold wet night after a long journey I could do without the hassle and would expect that the system could cope with a personalised number plate.

The barrier wouldn't raise, said my card had expired, which it hadn't. Used the help button with no joy there was no answer. Had to reverse out of the way of the barrier and run to the office for help. Never again

We have used the long stay many times and always been very happy with price and convenience. Unfortunately this time we paid more and when we got there the section where we normally park and others were closed off and there were limited spaces available elsewhere. If we had known this we would have made alternative arrangements. Added to this, when we came to exit the car park we couldn't get the machine to accept the ticket. Let customers known that there may be closures prior to confirming a booking.

On our return had to wait twenty minutes for the courtesy bus. Then there was no way of knowing which parking zone you were in. The windows were steamed up and the driver gave no idea of where we were. When we arrived at our car there were several abandoned trolleys in the area all a threat to damaging a car. We use this park regularly and will need parking next month, however these issues give us concern.

I always book and pay In advance for convenience. However my ticket is never accepted at the barrier. I have had every explanation from having had it too near to my mobile phone to not recognising my number plate. Very Inconvenient. I also don't why the nearest carparks which are often empty are unaccessible and marked as closed?

One of my alloy wheels was damaged and the company washed there hands and said not our fault as we must have missed that on our initial inspection

Need to have more signagae or better explanation on what to do when you arrive with your ticket etc. It could even have a link to the website or an explanation in the text you pay for.

On going to check out at 20:45 , the barrier would not allow me to leave , stating my exit time had expired , despite my booking/ticket clearly stating my exit time was 21:00. I had to contact the gate to get released , which involved me having to get out of my car , go to my baggage and retrieve the booking receipt reference number form the paperwork before they would lift the barrier.

We arrived very early morning the lighting and signage was terrible car parks right next to airport were meant to be closed for resurfacing but on return no work had been done We have used longstay car park many times and never had issues like this before stressed to bits to start my week away NOT a good if we were told when booking we would have just taken a taxi as there was not much difference between price and Start my holiday stress free We will think twice about booking again

On arrival at the long stay car park the signage could be improved to enable customers to find the allocated section of the car park more easily. The service of the courtesy coach was good.

Each time we exit the car park we have problems with the barrier accepting our ticket. We then have to reverse and go into the office to get the ticket authorised and be able to exit.

We have used your meet and greet facility on many occasions but this time we were most dissatisfied . On arriving back at 1.00am on the 24th of October from Alicante our car was nowhere to be seen.We were told at the site office that it was somewhere over to the right. We then had to search with our trolley loaded with many suitcases. on finding and entering our car we found our windscreen camera had been dislodged and made inoperative. This is not the service we expect. We would like your comments. When I arrived at the barrier to leave, my ticket was not accepted as it should have been despite everything being in order. The machine gave a me a bill for more then £160 pounds. After contacting the emergency person, I was eventually let out without payment (as none was necessary). We were surprised to experience this malfunction as in the past we have never had any problems. We were given no explanation as to what might have happened. A further point of note - it was quite difficult hearing the emergency contact person as the volume was low and I had to get out of the car and put my head to the machine ( I have perfectly good hearing which is not impaired in any way!).

On my previous 3 visits I have used the short stay car park, on this occasion I decided to use the long stay car park and found that parking areas that obviously had available spaces had barriers across the access roads stating the car park was full. These notices forced me into a very congested part of the park ending up in area "I" which is a considerable distance from the airport entrance, fortunately we managed to catch a courtesy bus to departure. On arrival back to Newcastle the time spent waiting at the baggage reclaim carousel was an absolute disgrace!! Outside the airport there was no signs of any courtesy buses so we had to walk with our cases in tow all of the way back to the car in area "I" and during the time it took to get back not one courtesy bus passed us.

Could not believe the prices of the outlets . A bacon sandwich and a pint were advertised as a special offer of £10.

Parking on the day was a nightmare. arrived 11am and took twenty minutes to find a space. Just has well we arrived in plenty of time. Courtesy bus to the airport was great. but on return was a shambles. Took too long, 25-30 minutes delay even though you knew the flight times. Crammed into bus with lots of luggage. getting off was a joke. might not use Newcastle again unless things improve.

Unable to raise barrier on leaving (for the third time!) despite having ample time left on ticket. Had to make the usual trek to the ticket office. Something obviously very wrong with system.
