As always, there is never a bus to take us in either direction. 1 bus is nowhere near enough for the distance and the amount of people parking

The coach never appeared after 10 minutes on arrival and so we walked to the terminal, during which time, there was no sign of a coach. The same happened on our return. You need more coaches running - is anyone supervising this. On airport parking is our preferred option, but if we have to walk, then off site parking will be a better alternative.

When we approached the parking area we were directed through road blocks to the the older part of the car park with an uneven surface and it was hard to pull the the luggage and it kept tipping over, when we came back there was a bus in the pick up area and it moved off virtually empty and left us standing, we came through the shelter and by the time (seconds) we reached the door it was closing he must of seen us and with other people approaching the area he should have waited.

I have on two occasions been unable to access the exit with the card received on entry. The explanation I was given was that the number plate was not recognised at the exit barrier and I have had to leave my car on both occasions to request the card be validated. I have a private number but surely if the camera reads the plate on entry, it should recognise it on exit. This situation could have been embarrassing if there had been a line of cars behind me! My registration number is HEH 11 R

I paid in advance via the website, For the second time this year I could not get out of the car park because the ticket was refused. At the end of a tiring journey this was stressful. I received no apology.

One machine was not working on the way in so we had to reverse out of the entry and attempt to get into the other one. Not easy with people behind you On return the barrier would not lift even though we had prepaid. The man told us it did not recognise 'private' number plates. I'm sure that is not the case as the car park had many vehicles with private plates. These are still genuine number plates. Ours has not been changed and conforms to DVLC regulations

Be very careful that the parking doesn't rip you off. The on the day price for parking can be much cheaper than the advance booking rate. Go figure

Our last use of the long stay car park was nit the best. Firstly the driver could not get the barrier open to gain access to the front of the airport. As time was very tight, we had to get off at the barrier and run for it. Upon our return to Newcastle Airport, it was brought home to us that the driver needs to announce which stop in the car park we were approaching. The lack of this information caused some to miss their stop and one couple to get off too early. It is tough for older people and for those, like us, who had been travelling all day - just the stress one does not need at the end of the day's travelling. We will not be using car parking for our next trip in November, taking a taxi is less stressfull and often cheaper.

Signs on bus stops MUST BE MOVED TO SIDES to make it possible for passengers to see their stops. Since the car park was extended the pick up bus did not follow stops in numerical order - very confusing. The whole car park design, road layout and signage needs complete overhaul to make it user friendly. Overall pretty bad.

On the 4/10/2016 at 3 am I arrived at the airport and went to collect my car. When travelling through the car parks on the mini bus, it was pitch black and people were having difficulty finding their car parks. The bus driver made no attempt to tell people the car park at which we were stopping at as to assist the passengers. When we stopped at "K" car park, we got off as our car park was "J" and we thought we had past it. The bus driver eventually spoke and said it was another couple of stops away. We decided to walk to the car park.

Airport is very poor for seating areas, before check in. Walk way through to departure lounge is not well designed as everyone is walking one way, and if you want to go back to a particular shop it is walking against the flow of poeple. The pick up to get back to your vehicle is a joke, we went to the car park coach pick up, and there were adopt eighteen other poeple with luggage waiting on the one and only coach running (23.30) , when coach arrived we were packed in like sardines,.no one new where we were in car park, driver never called out stops. Absolute shambles.

Could not get out of car park, tried two machines without success. On contacting information was asked rather condescendingly if we had put ticket in right way, when we confirmed we had had to repeat booking number twice before we were finally allowed to leave.

The signage at night is poor. You use the site every day but most people use it once so how do they know the layout. Exit signs were overgrown. When we were collected by the bus shelter at 1am we were first there before a second couple joined us but the driver pulled up tight to the shelter and we could not access the bus but others from the shelter could. Why not tell people how your system works. There were no simple pleasantries. The drivers do not call out where they are so passengers can get ready to leave the bus and there is no rolling display screen to say you are here. There are improvement opportunities.

Excellent, friendly, punctual transfer. I've used this car park a few times however this is the second time I've got to the exit barrier and it has requested additional payment (over £80 and £60). Therefore I had to reverse back to the office much to the annoyance of the people behind me waiting to exit. Once inside I was reissued a ticket but without explanation or apology as to what the problem was?
