ON RETURN TO THE UK THE SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER WAS NOT VERY FRIENDLY, RATHER SHORT WITH THE PASSENGERS. I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT HE WOULD HAVE ANNOUNCED TO PASSENGERS WHICH STOP HE WAS APPROACHING SO THEY COULD BE READY TO GET OFF AT THE RIGHT STOP RATHER THAN THEM WORRIED IN CASE HE WENT PAST THIER STOP

The parking was ok but on our return we had to wait 40 minutes for a bus to take us back to the car. This was unacceptable! We thought about walking to our car but there are no directions for that . If you cannot provide a service I do not think you should advertise that it's only a 3 minute wait.

it took 1 hour to clear customs with massive delays at passport control which was badly organised. This was followed by an unacceptable delay waiting for the long stay bus to take us back to our parked car. Waiting 30 minutes is totally unacceptable. Apparently there was only 1 bus in operation instead of 2.

This is the second time using the short stay parking, that it would not let me out at the barrier and ate my ticket. I could do without this at the end of a long flight!

Parking was fine. When we arrived back we drove to the barrier and the machine did not accept our ticket. We pushed the button for help and it rang and rang and rang. They must have been dealing with the guy beside us because he could not get out either. Cars were queuing behind us and tooting their horns. After what seemed like ages the attendant answered, the attendant was hardly audible but eventually after around 10 minutes we were free. Not great after 20 hours travelling.

no instructions on exiting drop off before entering long stay.I was advised to follow instructions on exit screen when calling on staff repeatedly informed staff screen was not working no member of staff would assist.It took me 20-30 minutes to leave drop off parking

Airport parking was spot on. We got the free shuttle bus to to car park on return. The bus was packed with people yet he continued to let passengers on that were going to the airport. Couldn't move had people pushing and falling in to my baby in the pram couldn't get off the bus. As they had there cases at the frount of the bus.when spoke to driver he had a disguting attitude. Ask for his name he refused. Will never use this service again.

Prepaid ticket would not operate exit barrier despite several attempts which resulted in a substantial queue behind me while I went to the office where I was issued with a replacement ticket which fortunately worked and the barrier was opened. This was the first time I had use airport parking and I would hope if I decided to use this facility again I would have a better experience

As a disabled driver I expected to be able to park in the designated disabled area. Surprisingly, not one space was available and almost none of the parked vehicles had disabled badges showing on their windscreens. Clearly, people did not care where they parked their cars and worse still the administration of this car park appears to be doing nothing to prevent misuse of this parking area. Sadly will not be using this car park again!

On arrival at the airport I proceeded to the long stay car park when we got on the shuttle bus I was told very abruptly by the driver that I'd parked in a closed car park I'll be very honest that I did not see "car park closed " signs I just think that the driver could have been a bit more courteous and explained that id parked my car in the wrong area

Arrival was OK parking was OK but when picking up my car my ticket was not accepted at the barrier, I had to wait about 5 minutes before I got an answer on the intercom on the barrier. I held all the traffic up behind me, luckily there were two barriers so some traffic managed to get out.

Car park buses run on a basis of someday/sometime/maybe/if driver can be bothered. You will almost certainly end up walking from the long term car park to/from the terminal. On the way you will pass lots of idle buses and, if lucky, catch a glimpse of the drivers sitting inside the office drinking tea.

We arrived back about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. It was very busy as I assume a number of flights had landed together. Unfortunately there only appeared to be one member of staff on duty in the office, when I went in to get my ticket validated I commented on how busy it was and I could hear the assistance buzzer going, she said she had not had time to answer and see what people wanted. I got back to my car and went to leave the car park to be met by what can only be described as gridlock at the barriers. For whatever reasons the barriers would not open for people who had inserted tickets, they were pressing the help button but no help was forthcoming. It must have taken 20 minutes to out through the barrier.

why is it cheaper to hire a car in Alicante for 2 weeks than to park at Newcastle airport for 2 weeks

kerbs to high. Awkward when crossing through car parks. Bays too small. Car parks poorly maintained. Shrubs overgrown. lots of litter.

On collecting my car both exit barriers were out of order. Your staff had no idea on what action to take. It took over an hour for someone to come and open one barrier. Not impressed at all with the performance and will think twice about booking again.

I booked in advance on line at a cost of approx £44, my reg plate was not recognised so on exit a demand of Approx £98 was requested, I sorted it out through the intercom. Why such a difference is permitted Is beyond me. I can only assume it's greed In order to rip off those not in the know!
