“During the peak season, at times, it is difficult to find comfortable seating. However I am aware of approval to expand has been granted so big improvement is expected in 2026.”

“We parked in short stay 2, we would normally park short stay 1 however, the prices this year have gone up a lot!! We were lucky to find a space close to the exit, as even at 4am the parking was very busy. 2 minute walk to terminal which makes it a lot easier and on return very convenient and easy.”

“A straightforward and slightly cheaper parking option. Took us 5 minutes to walk from there into the air port - thankfully the weather was good. Although I understand there is a shuttle to and from the car park I didn't see it.”

“It was easy to book the parking, clear signs to get to the Long Stay. Easy to get onto the bus and it is a short ride to the airport. Same with my journey back to the parking. Airport is very well run, no massive queues. Clean and organised. Love travelling with Newcastle.”

“The parking is great at Newcastle airport I just don’t see why it’s so expensive! In the last 3 years it has more than doubled, why? It’s open land, it’s mainly self serve from booking the space, using the space and leaving so why have the costs risen so much!?”

“The parking facilities and bus service are just fine, but the prices for parking seem to have increased a lot over the last couple of years, and are now a complete rip off. I was recently charged £120 for a 1 week trip, I can park at Edinburgh airport for less than half that.”

“The Long stay car park is conveniently sited near the airport with a frequent courtesy bus service to the terminal building. The car park is easy to access as the road network to the airport is good and once off the Newcastle western bypass fairly quiet. Parking is expensive but comparable to other airports. The car park is huge so it's worth making a note of the letter of parking zone you leave your car in, and the number of the bus stop you used. This makes finding your vehicle when you come home much easier. Booking was very easy on the internet, but it is worth noting any discount codes as these won't automatically be entered when you complete the booking. Entry is through barriers where it is necessary to collect a ticket. Exit is through barriers where the ticket is inserted so the the ANPR cameras can read the vehicle's registration plate and let you out. I have used the carpark many times and never had any issues, so am pleased with the service, even if it is expensive.”
