We were parked the furthest parking space away from the terminal although there was sections of the car park which were empty but blocked off so we could not use them . This would not put us off from using the facility again.

It does what it says on the tin. You book you park simple! The only down side is the cost, when we atrived at airport theres was an advert for a week stay cheaper than we had paid just wondered how

The airport experience was very good but I was disappointed witht eh meet and greet parking. there was a scratch on the passenger door of my 6 month old car which I brought to the attention of the staff when I picked up my car. I filled in some paperwork and received a letter today 10 days after my return to say that they did not think that it had been caused when the car was in their care and they would not be progressing my 'claim'. Very disappointed with this response as the scratch was not there when I dropped the car off.

Busy car park - but found a space easily. Nice short walk to the terminal but the pathways are terrible!!! Try pushing a trolley back to your car and you quickly run out of safe paths / ramps and end up on the road. Please do something about that problem and the experience will be great.

As usual had to press the button to get out.

In this day and age, why does your computer not recognise personalised number plates consisting of 3 letters and 2 numbers? Every time on exit I have the palaver of inserting the ticket, then it gets rejected, then I have to ring call button for assistance and eventually exit with 3 frustrated drivers behind me and a 5 minute wait. :-(

I have never had a problem parking at Newcastle Aurport however on this occasion it took me considerable time to find a space. Previous customers had obviously had the same experience & cars were parked anywhere & everywhere they could find a space I eventually parked I a safe spot but not an official space. The courtesy bus was very good. I hope the management of space improves.

I think you should make it a bit easier to get through the car park when pushing your cases on a trolley, there are hardly any ramps for when you are crossing the road and it's difficult to bump a trolley down a curb. Also think it's ridiculous how to get out of the parking block I had to drive up and down the car park to get to exit, when you come home off holiday you just want to get out as quick as possible

Car park was quiet when we arrived and returned with a distinct absence of any bus activity, so its a good job it wasn't raining. And why does it have to cost so much, if there was a viable alternative I would probably use it, so low on the value for money.

the camera at the airport carpark made an error in reading our car number plate. When I put the card in the ticket barrier it would not accept it, but did not explain why. We had to reverse back from the barrier (difficult when there is a queue) and went to the ticket machine to see what the problem was. The ticket machine requested us to pay the full fare for the parking, even though we had already paid. Eventually we worked out what the problem was. It would be more helpful if the ticket barrier gave information about why a ticket had been rejected.

Although I'd prepaid for my parking and was well within the time limit I'd paid for, on exiting the car park the auto barrier would not accept the data on the prepaid ticket. Not what I'd expect or envisaged and could well have done without the hassle after a long journey back to the uk. The guy on the helpline got it sorted pretty quickly thankfully.

Having always booked the car parking when we travel this year was the worst experience, on arrival we drove around and around for nearly 30 minutes and then had to squeeze into a corner spot in the car park the furthest away. We later found out it was due to Scottish flights changing to Newcastle we nearly couldnt get parked. Not enough buses driving around had to walk there and back on return, the roads and car park in general not suitable for cases, need weeding and resurfacing. In general is not that cheap to park your car, unless you get a deal, the amount of cars that do park there surely some money can be spent on upgrading roads, putting ramps in for pulling cases etc..

As frequent flyer it would be nice to have special rates. I use the car park at least 1 working week each month and have the same rates as all other travellers.
