Check-in and security were operated effectively. The car parking for mediun stay could be better explained e.g. need to walk for car park to terminal which is not undercover. Eating facilities after security are limited.

The fact that we had to walk to the long stay car park as there was no reply when we rang was not good. And your baggage handlers are far to slow, the slowest airport I have ever experienced in fact

Hi it did not make me happy as I sent you a email about how stressed I was getting n to a parking area as you turn into one it says closed tells you to go to another area when you get there it says this area is closed not what you want at start of holiday.

Access to the car parks is easy and the car parking area is only a short distance from the terminal and transfer by shuttle bus is quite straight forward, Just make a note of the number of the bus stop pick up point nearest to your car. The only real problems begin when you want to return to car. The bus driver does not bother to call out each bus stop, there is no display or map of the car park within the bus and the numbers on each bus stop do not face the road, so you can only see the number after the bus has driven past the bus shelter. At night time, the back of the bus can sound like a bingo hall with passengers trying to help each other out by calling out the numbers. These frustrations could be significantly improved by having large numbers fixed to both side walls of the bus shelter that can be seen from a reasonable distance and the driver trained to call out the number of the shelter just before arrival.

Newcastle airport appears to have the slowest recovery time for collecting cases from the carousel in any airport I have been in, on return two flights were on the same carousel while two others stood empty and unused. I put acceptable but that was just about there, it could have been lower

This is the second time this year we have used this parking , 2 nd time we've arrived back tired only for pre - paid exit ticket not to work . 2 nd time we've been spoken to by a rude operator . After travelling 15 hrs the last thing we need is to be asked our reference number surely the system will work off registration number , postcode or surname . Also a sorry our mistake off the rude operator wouldn't go amiss .

Easy to book and convenient to use however I have only rated it as acceptable because a) on the outward journey the car park was pretty full and we had to drive around numerous bays before we could find a space. b) we returned from our holiday at night and it was impossible to see the letters for the car parking bays. why are the signs not lit at night? c) the driver on the shuttle bus on our return journey was clearly not happy in his work and showed no interest in letting his passengers know which parking bay we were at even though numerous passengers were asking where we were!

The booking process was easy, parking areas very good value for money. Although let down when leaving the car park the prepaid ticket did not work!
