Barrier would not open upon exiting the car park at 2300hrs. The machine did not recognise our vehicle and we had prepaid. The ticket had to be verified at the kiosk before the barrier would open. It made a nonsense of going to the trouble of buying a prepaid ticket.

Waited over 15 minutes to be collected from airport arrivals - too long imo.

I used the car park arriving on 7th June. Previous visits I have quickly found a parking space. This time it took nearly 20 minutes as most areas were full and those that allowed entry were nearly full. I was following other cars hunting for a space. Finally I went into the overspill car park even though the entry sign said "full" and eventually found a place. On the plus side. I found that the bus transfer was quick once I rang for one. Talking to other drivers who regularly use the Airport, their experience was the same and I have to say that I will be very reluctant to use the Airport parking again in peak season

Very confusing road blocks - cones and no entry signs. Parked in car park J after apparently missing where I should have parked much to the annoyance of the person who answered the phone I used from the bus shelter - he certainly let me know what he thought! Bus did pick us up and we got berated again! Customer service - jury's out on that one?

There were no trolleys for our cases when we arrived at the car park, I had to go into the terminal to get one. Our car was not ready to pick up when we arrived home 08/12/16 00:00, apparently there had been a few arrivals at this time and their cars were also noted to arrive the next day. The guys attitude on the desk was very poor.

Granted we were arriving on busy half term exit Fri 27 May but found signage entering car park confusing as so many saying full etc. Ended up in Overflow area but no courtesy bus service, had to walk to entry road where driver kindly stopped for us. Bus ended up packed with standing room only and difficult for people to park luggage on racks. Return 9.45pm 3 June to find long queue in shelter for bus and knowing my husband 79years with severe arthritis would struggle we decided to walk towards exit road where I left husband, daughter & boyfriend while I walked on to retrieve car. After exiting car park I stopped for 2 minutes to pick them& luggage up and subsequently received £60 fine . Not a good end to family holiday to celebrate our Ruby wedding, a situation which would not have arisen had courtesy buses been running to meet demand!! LBA next time!!

It was quite difficult to find a space, I parked beneath a tree. So on my return car was, as you can imagine, full of poop. Arrived back at midnight, couldn't see any busses so went on foot to find car. Headed back to airport to collect family, only 2 lanes in 'bus or taxi' so pulled on to pavement and called family. Only there for a short time and just recieved £60 fine.

When we got back and put our ticket in the machine and it came and displayed we had to pay when we had pre-paid,we intend to use this service again in October so hopefully the service will be better next time

We had booked the parking until 2200 on the Monday, when I put the ticket in the machine at the gate at 0900 on Monday it told me that we had over stayed our booking. Luckily I had printed the booking receipt and a friendly parking attendant opened the gate for me, not causing too much of a traffic jam.

Good price but on the past 3 occasions unable to exit without calling for help to open the barrier even though I had pre booked and paid online

We needed two cars to collect family and i was with a relative, we found spaces to park quite easily. I paid for both tickets in the main terminal and it was confirmed that payment had been received. When we got to the barriers both my aunts car and My own were unable to exit as the message said that we hadn't paid. We had to go into the office and were still told that we hadn't paid, eventually got sorted ( we had paid!) but caused quite a hold up for other users as we were blocking two exits.

Although this parking was easy to book I have given a 2 star because when I went to come out the car park I was stopped at the barrier with the screen saying I have a £155 fee to pay. After a discussion with the helpers at the airport and running over to the terminal to get paperwork off my wife was I able to give my reference number and be let out.

On return exit ticket was not recognised and asked for payment of £142. Went to office to sort out but on trying again still not working until the 4th or 5th attempt. Net result is I will consider other airports in preference to Newcastle even though it is the closest to home.

We have used Newcastle Airport Long Stay Car Park 3 times. On the first 2 occasions we couldn't exit the carpark so had to go into the office. I was told it was because we had a personalised number plate. On the third occasion I had changed the number plate on the booking and printed off the booking with the changed number plate(not a personalised one) on. Guess what? We couldn't exit the carpark yet again. This time the excuse given was that although I had changed the number plate on line it hadn't changed on the system in the office! Not impressed.

I thought this would be ideal, just opposite the terminal and extra wide disabled spaces. WRONG. We couldn't get anywhere near the terminal and there were no disabled spaces left, not that there is many, anyway. My husband had to park the car as I couldnt open the door wide enough. We would have been closer if we had paid for the cheaper parking. When we got back the cars next to mine had parked so close that even my husband struggled to get in. Keep your money and park in the cheaper choices.

VERY POOR DROP OFF AND PICK UP, we arrived back from Ibiza on 31 st may 11:40 and joined the queue at the bus stop for transfer to carpark the first bus filled up and left, leaving us waiting for the next bus ,but the bus that was dropping passagers off behind the bus stand emptied and the driver who was supposed to be in CONTROL allowed people to get on his bus from the back of the queue ,to say I was angry was an understaitment we were not the only ones annoyed.
