Getting out of the long stay car park was as usual a nightmare. The number plate recognition really doesn't work. Sick of having to back down from the exit barrier and go to the office. You really need to do something about this extremely annoying problem.

Well, the car park ticket has not been recognised by the machine so had to ring help. The guy was relatively polite but good job I had reference number handy otherwise would be stuck...

The parking facilities at Newcastle airport are great, the short stay car park is directly in front of the airport however the prices are very variable, I have book a stay at the airport for 6-7 days at a cost of £33.99 but when I've booked one night more recently it cost me £39.99 for one night, and it was mid week on a normal day, very unreasonable.

small enough that you are not swamped with procedure. airside you have good enough facilities for food and drink. only irritant is being charged money to drop off or pick up when you are there less than 5 minutes which is bare faced robbery.

Was sent an email with a discount voucher - tried to book short stay but there was nowhere to put in the code - so booked it ! sent an email to ask for refund of the discount but was told "not available for short stay" - they forgot to mention that in the email !! So felt a little cheated !

Happy with the price and location of the parking, getting out was a little disappointing as I had to go into the office to get my ticket sorted (this is the 2nd time it's happened in 2 trips), I was well within my time allocation and was late at night both times so really just wanted to put my ticket in the machine and get home!

Easy to use and the courtesy bus is good. On our return to the car however, the car behind us had bumped my towbar. No real damage other than the plastic reflector in the towbar cover was broken, makes me think that the parking should be supervised more. I noticed another car nearby was parked outside the white lines.

Easy access to carpark and walk to terminal was fairly short. However no trolleys available in the entire car park so we had a very difficult trip to the terminal with 3 suitcases, pushchair, car seat, toddler and baby! We asked a member of staff who was unable to find a trolley and also did not offer to help us!

Booked online. Worked well. Get your booking in early as the price goes up nearer to your departure date

Car park charges are quite steep for a day or 2 day trip. Only good value for money if a week or more is booked. Need to look at pricing. Newcastle is haemorrhaging traffic to Edinburgh and Leeds; the monopoly is not quite what the Airport authority and its sub contractors seem to think it is!

The parking at Newcastle is well signposted. I used the medium stay car park, it was only a couple of minutes walk to the terminal. I have rated this only 'acceptable' because, of the extortionate fees at Newcastle upon Tyne airport. The car parking compared to other airport cities is the most expensive in the country, therefore I won't ever use it again

The car park is in a great place for access to the airport. However I did have an issue on this visit. I was 20 minutes later getting back to my car than I had booked due to circumstances beyond my control. When I put my ticket into the exit machine it said I had exceeded the time and needed to go the pay machine (turning round in a queue!) and had to pay a full day's fee (£19) and not just for the 20 minutes extra. The extra time did not put me into the next price band. When I got home I rang and was duly refunded the money. If only it could have been resolved at the barrier.

There were not enough security gates open and although the airport was generally quiet it took longer than it should have to clear security. I also have a concern, when your staff were busy in checking one person as they had passed the magnetic arch two young men walked through the arch and the red light came on, but your staff did not see this, which meant that two persons that should have been checked were not. A issue with your procedures. The cafes are too expensive.

Why isn't there a space to leave constructive or critical comments? The cost of parking at the airport is extortionate.
