Newcastle airport is no better or order than any other airport car park but it is it hour doubt one of the most expensive in the UK. I travel extensively and only park at the airport hen I have no other option.

It DIDN'T at 23.00hrs. The machine hadn't registered our number plate on entry. We couldn't exit and had to go to the office. It was a freezing cold night

It is very simple however if you have a problem, the customer services staff are so rude its inbelievable. They need to do some serious training on how to deal with basic customer service

Parking was convenient and the shuttle-bus arrived quite quickly. However, leaving the car park was frustrating. I had not remembered that the ticket needs to be "validated" to leave, so it was refused at the barrier and I then had to seek help in the office (as did some others at the same time, for the same reason). Staff seemed fed up of this problem, but did not see it as a system error but stupid customers! Surely the card could be automatically "valid" from the time the flight arrives, without any loss of security!

Could not get out of car park as ticket would not be accepted, there were three in the queue all with the same problem. The guy in the office said its because I had a private number plate which is strange as we have used the car park quite a few times in the last few years.

Easy parking close to the terminal. Unfortunately you have to validate the pre-booking ticket in the way out in the cold morning hours

Normally higher but with car parks closed for resurfacing as a disabled driver a bit more difficult. And last visit barriers weren't functioning

Unfortunately once again the barrier didn't work to leave the car park so has to reverse up & get another ticket this happens all the time .. No apologies from the staff either

We parked in the medium term area for three days. Plenty of space and easily accessible to the airport. However we had a problem on leaving ( a second time over recent years) when our ticket when scanned showed we owed some £79 although we had pre paid. Pressing the intercomm the clarity of voice from the office is very poor. I had to walk to the office to get the problem sorted. So the system is not perfect.

It was easy enough to gain access to the medium stay car park, however, as usual it was a struggle to leave the car park as yet again the barrier did not recognise our number plate in spite it being supplied correctly (3rd time in a row).

On our return the ticket wasn't recognised at the barrier. We pressed the help button and waited an eternity for a very grumpy voice to speak to us as though we had just got him out of bed. Not very impressed.
