Used the car park a few times with no problems. This time pre paid on line. On leaving after a weeks holiday put ticket in and requested for£82.00!! Had to go to kiosk with impatient queue forming behind. Guy at desk quickly sorted this but was happening to many other drivers. Think need to sort their tech. out. Otherwise airport and long stay all good...

Checked in and left the airport quickly and efficiently but as usual lately the bus service to the long term car park was useless. Putting on a small minibus when a busy flight had just landed was poor customer service as we had to wait for sometime before getting to our car.

Just unreasonably expensive Also if you walk which is quicker than the courtesy bus -the kerbs are not lowered anywhwpere for you to wheel your case (and there's a lot of junctions! - afraid it's hobsons choice if you have to take the car then you have to pay more than the cost of the airfare to park.

I was extremely disappointed and surprised by the very poor service in October. Although I was very happy with the safety of my vehicle, the curtesy bus was a joke. My wife and I ended up walking from Bus stop six to the terminal after giving up, even after calling the bus, dragging all luggage behind us. When we returned from holiday, we waited along with a lot of other holiday makers for over 20 minutes, when a man ahead of us buzzed for the bus, who ever answered the phone was very rude. the bus driver was both miserable and offensive, he obviously was not enjoying his job and boy did we know it, we should have walked back, it would have been a better end to our holiday, This has never happened to us previously and hopefully this was just a one off.

The airport and parking facilities were fine but for the rude and condescending buss driver who took us back to the car parks. Welcome back to Blighty i guess.

Parking up was easy, no complaints. Unhappy with the time we waited for the bus to the terminal. On return the bus was a nightmare, it was full to overflowing so when it came to get off with cases it was very difficult. The driver was allowing people to get on the bus so making it even worse.

Booking process was quick and efficient. Price was reasonable value for short term parking. However, the entry ticket would not let us leave the car park and after pressing the customer service button it took a full 15 minutes before anyone answered to allow us to leave.

Usually straightforward but recent parking here was unsatisfactory due to dollops of mud on my car roof when I returned from a trip away. Management cannot explain and did not want to know though fellow travellers and other folk in car park witnessed the incident. Dont usually hang around waiting for the bus etc. but just thought it worth highlighting that you should drag people out of the office etc. if something similar happens to you as they are in denial and could not confirm issue via CCTV (thought they watched all cars). Luckily no long term damage but this incident DID occur while I was parked up in C area!

First time using carpark the signage for finding a space needs to be improved . Fortunately the driver of the courtesy bus knew where free spaces were and was able to show me. Would have been even more difficult in darkness. Otherwise security of carpark was fine.

Not happy with new layout airside which seems to be even more geared towards food/drink/shopping - we struggled to find seats for the long wait for our flight and this was early morning out of season, so would hate to have to travel from Newcastle at peak time!! There appears to be no thought for the customer, just for the money-making airport and businesses.
