“My local airport. Handy and we're able to fly to a number of destinations. I would be very reluctant to fly from elsewhere. The airport is clean and tidy, well signposted. We used airport parking and I think that could be improved. The paths are very uneven. There are some works currently taking place and perhaps this issue is being addressed? The lighting is fairly poor and the fact that you need to insert your card at the exit barrier drives me nuts, when you've already paid with your card and accessed the barriers on the way in. Don't you have numberplate recognition?”

“nothing wrong with the car park, plenty of spaces when we arrived, the only annoying part was when we arrived back at newcastle early hours of the morning with 3 other flights the queue for the courtesy bus was massive and only saw one bus operating...”

“could have done with better positioning of signs to say car parks were full as I needed to turn left into west car parks and missed it. found it was not really in front of you when driving in.”

“Lady in the office was very good as I had made a mistake with the dates when I pre booked. The only slight complaint I have is we waited about 20minutes for the return bus.”

“New meet & greet parking a huge improvement. Weigh, label & drop your own bags with 2 kids under 6 wasn’t a great experience! Post security cafes etc still horribly expensive and quality isn’t good enough. Not enough tables/seating and dirty in places. Toilets better than our last visit but ladies very busy.”

“It's always nice to have a short walk from the parking to the terminal. However the parking spaces are incredibly narrow. Picking up door dings is almost inevitable when the spaces are that narrow.”
