“Good service but when we collected the car there was only one guy on the desk and a big queue. We were led to believe collecting the keys would be a quicker service”

“Plenty of spaces, very short walk to terminal, reasonably priced. Only improvement I can suggest is better pedestrian signage. Found it difficult to find way out of car park and ended up pulling suitcase up a grassy verge”

“Short stay 1 is very handy for the entrance to the airport..a little bit pricey...also when i was leaving put my ticket in and it wanted £218 spoke to someone on the intercom they asked for my no plate and then opened the barrier...i think they were trying it on”

“The car park seems very safe and there are numerous spaces available. Even though we attended in peak season (summer holidays), we found a parking space straight away. The only issue was that we waited for the bus for 25 minutes. In this time one did arrive however we were informed this was not taking people to the airport and was dropping passengers off. This is a good idea but it was a long wait for the bus taking you to the terminal. On return, even though it was about 2am there was 2 buses to the terminal within minutes to pick everyone up.”

“Generally good facilities, typical of most airports. Easy check-in and security with usual scramble for trays and subsequent queue to collect trays and get dressed. Good duty free offering, food quality dodgy and expensive so always bring own food - no fun having "delhi-belly" on board a plane! Car parking is good but signage is very poor especially trying to find way out at the dead of night! I always say that Newcastle baggage return is the slowest of any airport I've ever flown to but last trip was very quick especially considering two other flights followed us in. Warning: expect diversions for overnight roadworks when leaving the airport - outside airport control of course but a 1 hour journey can easily become 2 hours when directed through unknown countryside!”

“The parking and bus service was good. The price was less so, I had a booking code but couldn’t use it on the online booking site, I then tried to ring but it was outside of opening hours so I had to pay without the advantage of my code.”

“The only negative is there are not enough direction signs for the different car parks and can be quite confusing. Other that this, no problems. Transfer bus is great and all the drivers very helpful and friendly. ☺😌”

“Always use the Meet & Greet when we travel. This is the first time we've used the "new" set up. Feels like it further away from the terminal than it used to be; which is a shame. However, that is a minor grievance. Still a top option for hassle free parking and takes worry out of having to find the car when you've just got back from a long flight - or having to wait for the bus to the car park etc.”
