Would have been higher, but lack of open food facilities when arriving for early flight was poor

Very disappointed to find after pre booking (and paying in advance) they wanted to charge the daily rate ....double what we owed. After a late flight did not appreciate the hassle.

Good position within walking distance from terminal, but the signposting to get to the medium stay car park was poor.

Lots of parking not available as work going on.I know that the work has to be done sometime but an e mail to inform you there was less parking than normal would have been helpful. Unable to find a disabled space or one near the terminal.

Getting to the airport was easy, well sign posted and straight forward entry into short stay parking. Was only away for three days so short stay was perfect.***** The only problem i had was exiting,booked online so thought it would be easier? put ticket in barrier and it would not open had to press the help button to talk to someone who was (not in any hurry) to answer. To explain that i booked online, gave him my name and reg number so he could find it on his system and raise the barrier so i could leave. I know i was only away a short time but the whole idea of booking short stay is to get in and out as fast as possibly,especially landing late at night you just want to get home

The facilities are spot on, plenty of parking. The member of staff that when I asked for assistance regarding my booking and what I at the gate (first time I had used the car parking) raising his voice and repeating “can you not read the sign like? You need glasses?” Was a bit off putting and a rubbish way to start what was a good holiday. Would have stopped to give him the feedback there and then but was in a rush to catch a flight. Shame.

Parking is easy, check-in is easy and passage through security was quick although it is winter season.

Booking parking is easy and you do save a little. However my experience leaving the car park was not great as the ticket that was issued to me on arrival didn’t work when I went to leave. It wouldn’t have been bad had I not had a line of cars behind waiting to get out.

Newcastle airport in general is ok, but I always feel when you board the plane from the far end gate it is quite old fashioned and sometimes difficult to negotiate because of the stair well you have to walk down and then on your return the high curb stones and concrete steps as you enter the building, I also always have a problem when I leave the short stay car park as my car has private plates on, so every time I try to leave the car park I have to speak to an un helpfull, unhappy person on the tanoy system.

Wide spaces, close proximity to the terminal but in a balanced review, every single week (as a pre paid customer with a private car registration), I am unable to exit the car park without having to ring for help, as the "software" can not recognise my number plate. :-(

Disappointed on meet and greet as had to go down to the car, luckily close to the terminal. Couldn’t find the phone to call them and when picked the car up the man behind the counter didn’t seem bothered

Arrival is the easy bit, but yet again on departure my exit ticket did not work saying that I was beyond the booked time when I was not. I then press the assistance button, I am asked for my surname and registration number; the assistance line goes dead and the barrier raises for exit - no apology, no explanation, nothing.

Easy to book and good prices when able to book in advance. Sadly I had to cancel my break but there's no facility for cancelling parking so I lost quite a lump of money. No surprise here but a shame in today's automated world that the facility isn't there.

Easy to book online, however, didn’t recognise my plate on way out so had to sit and wait for operator to answer. Then needed to hunt out booking reference. Operator was spot on but that’s not the point.
