Difficult to find a parking space - SPACE signs were full! On exit, barrier failed to read ticket, so had to go to office.

Struggled to get a parking space even though we pre-booked, on the plus side the buses were frequent.

The last two occasions I have pre booked the number plate recognition has failed requiring me to contact the barrier controller on exit - a two minute wait to connect and then shouting details if my booking into the microphone located a distance from the drivers eindow. A minor inconvenience really, but it seems unnecessary.

Not the fastest pick-up service but OK. The buses could benefit from displays to tell passengers which pick-up point it's at.

Clean and modern. Airport short stay car park needs more disabled spaces. Special assistance desk is a shambles. One man on the desk dealing with golf clubs, surf boards, pushchairs and wheelchairs holds us up every time!

I use the medium stay car park, which is easy to locate and suits our needs nicely. We are regular travellers to our property abroad and our return flight arrives in Newcastle in the early hours of the morning. What infuriates me is the exit barrier, that invariably doesn't open when I follow the prescribed procedure. This necessitates a visit to the onsite office and a delay in leaving the car park. At silly o'clock in the morning and work next day it annoyed me considerably. So much so that we started flying from Leeds Bradford, however, circumstances meant we couldn't this time. I suppose the only consolation was I was expecting problems; sad really.

Barrier not working on morning held up quite a bit meaning there was a queue by the time we got into airport checkin also meant short time in aspire lounge

You didn't! I paid around £100 for Meet & Greet + full valet for a week at the end of may. Upon collecting the car, I was told 'oh- i didn't get chance to do the valet'. When i asked about a refund for it and enquired as to whether it was automatic his response was 'I don't know, to be honesy- you're probably best off phoning the call centre' After hunting for the number I spoke to a very helpful guy who said he'd need to confirm that Valet wasn't done then would get back to me in around 90 minutes. He didn't get back to me until the next day. While the prking service was good and I managed to get the refund- overall service was very poor!

Parking and courtesy bus were great but the massive wait at passport control was a nightmare landed early in the morning with a few other flights and only 3 border force guards checking passports.

could not find disabled space, ordinary spaces make getting in and out of car difficult. there do not appear to be any reserved spaces for people who have pre booked and finding a space is difficult.I do find parking nearer the terminal much easier than the long stay park

Easy to find & get a car parking space. However the phone in the bus stop was broken but a bus did come & collect us. On return to the aiport we boarded a bus but it did not stop at our required bus stop and we ended up back at the terminal from where we walked to the car park

On arriving at Newcastle airport, I dropped my wife and 2 friends off at the short stay car park, whilst we unloaded the cases for our holiday and paid the £2.50. They took the cases whilst i parked the car, which i proceeded to do. Collected by a nice friendly bus / coach driver. On our return my wife and friends collect the bags and i hurried off to the coach/bus to be transported to my car(again another friendly driver). On collecting my car, presented the ticket to machine which was refused, barrier failed to raise, tried again nothing, I returned to the manned station / reception to be told that because id drove into the short stay car park the camera had recognized the number plate and it had registered me entering and exiting twice in my parking allocation that's not allowed. He then done something to my ticket and i went on my way to the barriers, only for them to fail to raise again. i left the car at the barriers, walk back to the station whereupon the gentleman came back out the the barrier and raised it with a swipe card. The speed of which I'd had hoped never materialized. Overall its a great system, but driving into one car park and dropping off suit cases and parking in another shouldn't cause that much of a problems!

Same review as always in that car park does not register private number plates and always have an issue on exit. I have reviewed this many times but never even get the courtesy of a response. Seems a waste of my time filling this in !!!!!

used the long stay parking and found the signage VERY confusing, and at first ended up in the workers section. Better signage would be a major improvement.
