On the up side easy to park, size of airport good to get around. On the down side not as consumer friendly as it used to be before the revamp. Don't like having to walk through all the retail outlets before getting into the main part of the airport.

I have been asked to respond to the question " Tell us how Newcastle Airport made me happy??" - it did not, its an airport, its a very average airport where the Duty free booze is more expensive than what you can buy in the shops - There's nothing about this airport that is spectacular at all let alone made me happy - its a regional airport - its does a job of work - nothing more nothing less. They spend hundreds of thousands of pounds doing up the Duty Free and nowt of any consequence in regards to the passengers It does its job

Easy to book on line(and correct when i made a mistake) Bus transfer was very quick and efficient with friendly staff

When arriving for the meet and greet car parking there was limited room to park my car. I had to walk 50 m to the office and when I needed to remember be my luggage was told there were no trolleys and I would need to walk another 50m to get one. Not exactly the yuck meet and greet service described. Whilst away I was made aware of a flight date and time change. I emailed the airport who achknowledged my email. Upon my return my car was nowhere to be seen as they had not been passed the email. I had to wait 15 mins for my car to arrive with a 4year old and 7 month old child in the cold.

We're a bit disappointed with the airport parking. The last two times we have flown from Newcastle we have prepaid our parking and the machine hasn't worked on the way out so we've had to go into the office and receive a ticket to get out....It defeats the purpose of a quick exit!!

Found parking space after 10 minutes should have better information were spaces are ?

Have always been pleased with this facility, however on this occasion there seemed to be some confusion on which areas were open resulting in us driving around areas which were full. On our return our ticket was not accepted at the barrier even though we had prepaid, it meant a visit to the control hut while holding up other traffic. I have always rated very good put afraid you fell short on this occasion.

Ease of access, but down side, was time waiting for transport, quite a queue was waiting at bus stop, obviously no transport had been for a while. We ended up walking to terminal.

Parked in the wrong section (poor signage) but was able to exit the main gate anyway.

I could park close to the terminal even though I was in Long Stay. Unfortunately, the number plate recognition system was not working. This normally seems to be the case but on this occasion virtually everybody had to go and have their tickets authorised in order to get out. I dont know why this system is so poor.

Getting in is OK, finding your way to the exit is another matter! Quite reasonably priced though.

Been using for years but this year someone bumped car and scraped it and left without leaving details. No camera system there to watch cars to see who.done it won't be using again will use taxi or bus.

Last time I used the short stay parking it was easy. However this time my ticket would not go in the barrier. I was helped by the person on the end of the phone but can't understand why my ticket was unreadable. Still it won't stop me booking again.
