“Handy shuttle bus service, but the carpark itself could be far better signposted to make it easier to find your car when you return.”

“Airport good for check in and passport control, poor for food and drink, car park a nightmare, only one coach to take you to car, car park very badly laid out and difficult to find car.”

“Upgraded to short stay from long stay, parked 5 mins from the main terminal, ideal!! Only fault was on the return my ticket would not open the barrier to let me out, had to wait for the attendant to check out my booking number, cars behind not very happy. hopefully this glitch is ironed out next time.”

“On our outbound flight, we checked it to the meet and greet as with our previous holidays. My wife then pushed me up the slope before going back to ge the luggage. (on our last use of 'meet and greet' a helpful member of staff assisted by taking our leggafge into the airport) On arriving back to Newcatle, we were unable to get a reply from the phone in luggage collection but the car was still ready for us. For some reason we were unable to get through the barrier but a member of staff came and assisted after us goingg back to the office. Not as good as previous times wwe hsve used the service but will probably do so again”

“Car park meet and greet is awesome service. Airport bars and restaurants really good. But baggage handling and wait is the worst of any airport in the country. Please sort this and it will be a great airport”

“We were able to park fairly close and this minimised the stress of travelling to and from the airport via taxi / public transport etc.”

“Good, but car park is covered in gravel. Need to get ANPR to work at the exit like every other airport in the UK, you have to go into the office to validate your ticket.”

“A bit disorganised regarding disabled passengers. Not enough parking spaces for disabled drivers. We had to park a distance away from the terminal which was too long a walk for my husband. Can't get a wheelchair until you check in.”

“I did the pre pay parking, which meant there was no waiting around to pay when you get back to the airport when picking the car up to go home. You just put your ticket in the machine and the barrier lifts up. On arrival however (before the outbound flight), I pressed the button to obtain the ticket and as it was emitted from the machine it blew away and I had to get out of the car to retrieve it. It wasn't a particular windy day either so there could be a problem if it was.”

“I parked up around 4am, in the long stay car park. While getting through the initial barrier was fine I found the lighting after that not good. Then I discovered that all the barriers into the car park were down & not moving! Luckily I was able to squeeze my car up on the pavement & in. Anxiety I could have done without!”

“Quick shuttle service from/to the terminal, the distance from the Long Stay Parking and the Terminal is very short. On the other hand it wasn't too easy to find a free spot on this occasion.”
