I'm glad I upgraded to the short stay car park so I didn't have to use the bus service which is always slow and has rude drivers. It was good to be able to walk to the terminal. However, the ticket didn't work when I tried to leave, also a regular occurrence at Newcastle Airport. The lady I spoke to on the speaker was very abrupt as well. I recommend someone at Newcastle Airport parking goes to look at Edinburgh or Stansted where the service and facilities are excellent.

Parking in short stay very convenient but on way out ticket would not lift barrier. Used help button and was sorry to be such a burden to the person I spoke to, I must have disturbed their lunch!

Easy entry and quick to find a parking space. All of this completely let down by the breakdown of the exit barrier system which took 15 mins to resolve

Very efficient booking and great location in airport. I booked two slots for me and my son however both tickets were rejected on exit which meant a delay for both of us. Not normally an issue though.

Airport facilities fine but on-site parking service poor. Paid online before departure, only to be texted with someone else's details! On return, ticket would not operate barrier, so entered adjacent office to be met with standard "computer problem" explanation - but no attempt at apology! "There you go," was as far as it went before validated ticket was finally handed back. Could do better.

Unfortunately the ticket did not work on exit and we waited a few minutes before the phone was answered to exit the car park

Tried to charge £90 on exit despite pre pay. Long queues to get out, apparently due to software upgrade. Staff very helpful in trying circumstances

I wouldn't say that Newcastle Airport parking made me happy. I got to the carpark and followed the road around and couldn't find a parking space so I drove around to find one. When I picked up the courtesy phone to call for the bus I was told rather abruptly that the area I had parked in was closed. There were no signs or warnings of this and I was able to drive in without any barriers or notices. I was an inconvenience to the person and not a customer.

You didn't, after a late night early mornining flight drove to barriers to be told had been black listed and to contact staff ! Que of cars behind me all giving dirty looks as they had to use alternative barriers, just to be let out after stating name ! Why ?

We booked meet and greet!! Not what we expected, in that, you had to park up yourself, once you found the car park, take the keys and hand them over the desk. Then collect your keys and find your car. Bit confused by what meet and greet actually meant. Next time we will just park ourselves in the long stay, plus it's a lot cheaper.

We have used this car park service for years, sometimes 3 or 4 times a year. Normally very good but last time we used it we had our car bumped. Unfortunately the cameras were never pointing to our car so could not find out what had happened. Will use again for its ease and convenience but will choose a better parking space.

Lovely airport but the member of the car park staff I had to deal with at 11.30pm could do with a customer service training course! Very rude

Jet2 checking was very smooth. Security check was quick, although the female attendant was rather brusque and not clear in what she wanted.

Booked meet and greet parking. Early morning flight and was disappointed to see that the definition of meet and greet is park your own car, go to a kiosk and hand in your key. Other airports I have used mean driver meets you at departure drop off point, you get out, and he drives and parks your car. Disappointed indeed, not much different to long stay parking.
