“Having pre paid for parking on a recent holiday, we found ourselves being delayed on our return because of technical difficulties with the aircraft. This made us late returning to our car at Newcastle. The airport parking guy was very understanding and allowed us to leave with no additional payment.”

“Good parking facilities but arrived at 4am, approach was quite dark, struggled to see signage to short stay car park 2, would be better to be more illuminated. Also car parking is becoming quite expensive”

“have not used any airport in over 7 years , so have nothing to compare standards with .However from parking to boarding everything went very smoothly.The lady driver of the long stay carpark shuttle bus was amazingly helpful to everyone . I personally found the duty free /departure/ shops and cafes areas etc. very busy, crowded ,hot ,dark and noisy with insufficient seating .That could be down to the 6am flight though.”

“Easy to book however barrier failed to open when leaving the car park. Ended up having to reverse away from exit gate, park up and sort in the office. Luckily it was 2:00 in the morning and not busy.”
