“I use the airport car park fairly frequently and have not encountered any serious problems. However, the last three times I have been through, the camera has failed to record the correct registration number on arrival at the car park and this has necessitated calling at the office on my return from a trip to sort things out. I have been using the same car for a number of years without difficulty. The bus service to/from the terminal is very good and the drivers are always very pleasant. Perhaps an extra bus at peak times would be helpful.”

“problem with number plate identification camera does not accurately read plate and always have to contact staff to raise barrier staff very helpful but camera software needs improving”

“I use Newcastle Airport several times a year as it is convenient for me, and it has all the facilities I require. Regarding the car parking, I would like to see a discount scheme for regular users. It seems wrong to me that agencies can offer a better deal than the airport.”

“Booking very easy. Long stay not too far a walk from terminal. Few slight niggles were :that there weren't very many spaces left: arrived back at 03:00am & trying to find car in dark with not much lighting & no row signs etc was bit difficult. Overall pleased & would use again”

“Good airport. Not far too walk. Got through security pretty quickly. Only issue was having to buy a bag for toiletries. I had no change so had to go back downstairs to a Greggs to spend money and get £1 change.”

“Experience was good although there wasn’t a bus in sight when we arrived although it was before 6am, so we just walked! Was difficult to find a space it was very busy! Checking in and security was very slick. Slight issue on return with the barrier not going up and saying we owed payment but it was quickly resolved by a member of staff.”
