“Quite well organised good facilities. The only thing I have concern of is the pricing of the car park and some of the food places.which seemed a little on the high side.”

“Car park easy in easy out with the prebooked number plate reading system. Huge site which is only partially open so sometimes drive around and around looking for an empty bay. 5 - 8 minute walk to terminal or regular free bus service. Parking prices creeping up. Airport has plenty of facilities before and after customs check-in. Good all round experience in a relaxed atmosphere.”

“easy parking easy access to airport although early in the season airport quite full and might i say a little noisey lads in the bars shouting i am sorry but if i have had a few drinks i do not need to shout at a person less than 2 feet away i was excited just as much as them 30 years ago when i was their age i still didnt get rowdey they need to be reminded its a airport and not the BIG MARKET it was 8-am not 10pm but all in all a good wait for my flight will be back in june and august SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.”

“It is great having an International airport on my doorstep (living in Newcastle) that flies to the Far East (via your daily Emirates flight), on which I was a regular flyer, and also across Europe (though a few more direct flights would be great). The bar, and also the Aspire lounge are regular haunts. The staff, including security staff, are polite and friendly. Airport parking is reasonably priced (for an airport) especially when booked in advance, and I have booked parking minutes before driving to the airport from the centre of town. However, Bar Ritazza, particularly the groundside Bar Ritazza, is filthy and staffed with belligerent uncaring individuals, incapable of making a decent cup of coffee. I will never return, and see my review on tripadvisor for more evidence.”

“A long wait when we arrived back at Newcastle at the bus station. Woman on telecom seemed uninterested and wasnt very adhering. The driver seemed to think he was going out of his way to pick us up - even though its his job. The driver on our way to the airport was very welcoming and friendly.”

“I found the process of booking a place and leaving almost perfect and smooth. However, on leaving the car park, the barrier would not accept my ticket and I had to go to the office to have it validated. This has happened to me in the past, and there must be a problem with reading number plates. Otherwise I was happy with the process.”
