“Placed order on 1st April, and after it failed to arrive within 2 weeks I sent an email- and was told that my order had been despatched and would be with me soon. Several emails later - my order had still not arrived so by May 1st I requested a refund - it’s now May 16th and I haven’t received any refund - although it has been sent according to Not in the Dog house. I wish I had read the reviews before attempting to buy anything from Not in The Doghouse. I shall be reporting to Trading Standards.”

“My order was never sent to me. You have promised to return my cost of £58. on numerous occasions . E-mails from Amy and Tom have assured me they will repay me. They have lied !, no refund, it’s about 7 weeks now. I will of course never use them again.”

“I spent around £70 on a large sack if dog food it never arrived & they seem uncontactable I phone only to gey a recorded message saying they have no one answering the phones, I email & get no response. I'm at my wits end.”

“I ordered the food at the beginning of April, we have May 16 and I still don't have the food, terrible contact, they don't write back, and when they write back they lie that they will send it, I'm trying to get a refund and it's hard, and it's 90f, I don't recommend.”

“Don’t buy anything from this company. I haven’t received the dog food I order or had my refund back after many emails and their promises to sort. They never answer the phone and have now ceased email response. Been ripped off of £41.04. Many people it seems in the same position as me. Awful, they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this. There site only show’s positive reviews so this will happen to many many more people.”

“Still waiting for the dog bed that I ordered on the 1st May Contacted them a few times by email and they said each time that they are going to send tracking number shortly, but they never do I’ve asked which courier they use and I’ve had no reply so I think they are ignoring me now So I’m still waiting as I’ve got to wait 30 days until I can contact my bank to help fight this and get my money back , hopefully I can get a refund for the £55.00 I’ve just spent with this awful company.”

“The only way I got money back from this awful company was to go through my bank, Barclays were excellent, I would advise anyone who has had the same issues to contact their bank, good luck I hope everyone eventually gets their money back”

“You asked for a review so this is the situation. I’ve not yet received my items despite chasing 4 times. It’s into week 5 now and no sign. Your website said delivery in 5 working days. I love to support small businesses, but trust and transparency are vital to that. I would not buy from you again. I just hope my £100 worth of provisions for my new puppy (still waiting for her bed) turn up….”

“It's been a month, since my order. Been told it is with the courier. But nothing since. I have sent several emails. I will calling them tomorrow for a refund. It's not a small amount of money spent, so I am worried.”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They falsely advertise products and then when they don't arrive fail to process a refund (which is why they don't offer paypal as a method of payment). I have complained to the Insolvency Service about them as given the experience of so many others they should be shut down!!!”

“I have neither received the goods nor a refund. I have had two emails telling me that the items have been dispatched, one after I'd received a message saying that the order had been cancelled and that I would receive a refund. The subsequent questions need to change so that Goods Not Received can be added.”

“I ordered dog food in Feb. and was impressed by the email I received immediately, thanking me for supporting a small business. However, despite numerous emails from me asking what has happened to the order,and promises that I would shortly receive tracking for it, nothing has arrived.Phoning is impossible, emails are not answered.I have consulted Which?Legal and followed their advice, but so far no refund or dog food. This firm does not deserve any support- avoid.”
