It took 5 days to deliver the case of wine including multiple calls to UPS. The O'Briens website did not make clear how long it would take or give options for a faster delivery. However, Lorcan was very helpful in resolving the situation.

The online tasting pack was not there: only the ancillary 4 bottles ordered??

Dear Dermot. Thank you for your order and apologies for the confusion. To ensure there was no delay with those ancillary bottles, they were shipped from our warehouse ASAP. The John Wilson tasting pack is being made up in our warehouse and will follow shortly. It will be delivered in plenty of time for the tasting. I got the parcel but I did not sign for it as I was not contacted when it was delivered. as my eircode does not identify the exact house and often results in parcels being delivered to neighbours. It isn’t good enough to be putting neighbors in that position, especially in the current situation.

Never again. Due to lockdown travel restrictions I decided to order on line for delivery. Ordered 30 bottles value €464 for personal consumption. Order was delivered over 2 days in three boxes and managed to leave order 2 bottles short.Then when 2 bottles were delivered by Brian he delivered to number 23 yet house number clearly visible on address label 26. So no I will go back to the store in douglas cork. At least when you could click and collect they always got it right but now it’s online it was amateurish. I gave it 2 chances and both times it was a very poor experience...would I recommend the delivery option absolutely not...

The full order was not delivered. I have advised O'Brien's, still waiting for a full case to be delivered.....

Regarding the above order I had to try 5 times before my credit card details were accepted? Contacted Bank of Ireland where they said that there was no problem at their side. Tried calling your head office but there is a recorded message asking for email contact only? Branch office in Cork is unaware that no one is manning the phone at head office? Otherwise the delivery was prompt.

A little bit disappointed by the fact that a bottle of french red wine, which according to the provider was no more available, has been replaced with a bottle of rose wine. I was not contacted by the provider to verify if the change would have been accepted. I hate rose wines!

I would have to say poor as the delivery differed from what I ordered. If there was a problem with meeting my order due to stock issues I should have been informed of this ahead of time

Whenever you need them most - Christmas / COVID - they stop delivering beer. At all. Even if you want to buy multiple cases. Why? So they can make more profit by only delivering wine.

I purchased a gift of two bottles of wine to be delivered to Galway on 27th Feb 2020 as a birthday. It didn’t arrive until I made a phone call to you. Same thing happened last year. I order from you every year. Not good enough

Hi, I placed order on line WO 402653. Entered all delivery address including Eircode and mobile in order details. Got confirmation email and noticed that delivery details were a previous address registered against my loyalty card. No Eircode or mobile. Contacted your customer care and agent finally agreed to contact DPD. Got delivery email from DPD still with incorrect address details. Contacted DPD directly and gave them correct details. Got no call from DPD and order delivered to my neighbour who contacted me. Overall very poor experience..

As a long term customer of O'Briens in Galway and happy with same I was disppointed that the failure to delvier my gift to Ronan O'Regan 28 Villiers Road was not alerted to us and I do not think it would have occurred if I had not asked Ronan directly several days later. This rather defeated the purpose of a gift. I know everyone is busy but we are disappointed Anthony O'Regan / Catherine Fleming 12 St Marys Park Taylors Hill Galway.

it took over a wek to deliver a box of wine to Dublin 4. Incredible as I recived Amazondelvery from UK in 3days !

Order did not arrive as indicated - 1 week ago- and has still not arrived. I chased up information from O’Briens and subsequently from DPS. Shipment was damaged and the routine apparently is that damaged shipments are returned to O’Briens and then the Order is reissued after everything has been cross checked. I have not had any further update at time of review or indication of when I will get this delivery.
