I had loads of problems with other providers, and when I spoke to Jack he was ace! He was calm, confident and really helpful-if only, if only all companies had a 'Jack', he knew what he was doing, was efficient and he made a stressful process easy to handle. Thanks Jack.

To say I am blown away by the help I received today from a wonderful lady called Mamie is an understatement! There have been considerable discrepancies on my account for some time which have been very difficult to unravel so a massive thank you to Mamie who went above and beyond to take control of the problem and solved it on the same day. Very impressive. Thank you Mamie.

Emily was dealing with my switch from my previous supplier. I wanted a good rate, as well all do, and also wanted to get an SEG export agreement. She was able to deal with all that I asked for and got the transfer information done quickly and efficiently. I was impressed with her ability to get it done quickly and it was all explained to me as we went through the process. Emily, thank you very much for doing such a fantastic job with such efficiency and with a great sense of humour. Remember emails travel more slowly at night because the cables they go down are colder after sunset and that slows them down. It's also dark so they have to travel more slowly to stop accidents and them getting lost on the routes they travel may not have street lighting.

Nice to be able to chat to a friendly helpful person who made the whole switching process so simple. We don't all like tapping on a keyboard on a website

I’ve called twice today, once to get some info and a quote and the second time to switch. I first spoke to a man called Ethan, who explained everything really clearly and made me feel very comfortable in the conversation. The only reason I called back to switch was the customer service I received when I rang, I was only waiting for 1 minute before Ethan answered my call and then helped me enormously with explaining the ins and outs of the tariff, I then called a couple other energy companies to compare, and some were slightly cheaper but I decided to switch to octopus purely because of the service I received. I then spoke to Thomas who further confirmed my decision to switch. He went into further detail about the tariff and further helped me understand it all, even with my thousand and ten questions! Both people who answered my call today were incredibly friendly, polite and easy to talk to. I never felt pressured to switch, I switched just because of these two peoples service.

Because your wonderful assistant Be Be walked me through changing suppliers as a very gentle and kind lady helping an old lady who recently lost her husband and I was very emotional and so happy to be assisted with such great knowledge and kindness. She is a credit to your company. Carol Gall
