“I would have given 4.5 if that was an option, the rescue vehicle was later than the expected time, however this was due to traffic driven by road works elsewhere, which I was aware of. The driver was friendly and helpful.”

“After having a blowout on the M42 I contacted Onecall rescue. The call handler said that he would send me a text message with a link that I needed to complete the information and someone would ring me back. I completed the information only for it to say that they were unable to process my request and I had to ring. I called back only to be told that I would have to contact a local garage to source a tyre before they could send help. I was on the M42, miles away from home and didn't know the local area. The call handler told me to google it, when I told him that this was ridiculous and potentially in danger at the side of the busy M42. His response was that if I was in danger I should call the Police and that I wouldn't ring a taxi not knowing where I was. The police were more helpful and helped me find a garage and I was eventually recovered and taken to a local garage. The garage was unable to replace my tyre as the blowout had split my wheel. I rang Onecall to arrange to be recovered and taken back home, only to be told that I had already had one call out that day and they couldn't send someone out for the same problem. My policy states unlimited call out and I was left stranded, unable to drive my car. I am not impressed with the service and I will be making a complaint.”

“I have problems with the battery not getting enough mileage to charge it and I have had to call for help. On each occasion the service has been prompt and effective. On Saturday the man who helped gave me some excellent tips. One I have already implemented is to add premium diesel from time to time to improve cleanliness and performance of the engine. Thanks folks!”

“Called breakdown (username BP2) was the a operator who was very reassuring & asked if safe etc... Advised regarding the timeframe for the recovery service - text message to update following the call (2 mins). Offered to call anyone. Very comprehensive.”

“The recovery gentleman arrives within about 20 mins. He was so polite and very chatty. I really felt impressed with him taki n g my car, as I had to get to work. However, as a lone female, he arrived in fantastic time. I was totally impressed. Thank you so much.”
