“One Call didn't really make me happy. I had a severely flat tyre and no spare so I called One Call. They said I would have to find a garage which was prepared to fit a new tyre. It took me a while to find a suitable tyre supplier. Meanwhile a recovery vehicle was sent, which took an hour and was not able to pick up my car or repair the tyre. The driver tried to find a local supplier so he could fit the tyre himself, but there were none in the area. Eventually another vehicle arrived to convey me to the repair shop and after another hour or so the repair was completed at my expense. Not exactly One Call!”

“Having reported breakdown link was sent to report a breakdown ( again? Is this really necessary?) Couldn't submit in the event. Called again to check if had gone through; it hadn't. So on 2nd call operator reported breakdown; no link required. Breakdown service was very good. What would happen if caller didn't have smartphone??”

“Easy to get through to speak to someone rather than a minefield of button options. Easy process to go through process from a link sent to me. Grateful for a map to locate my breakdown. Able to ring and chase call-out which was delayed due to accident traffic - they were able to phone Burke Bros and chase arrival time. Satisfied all round and would recommend.”

“Had to be rescued after hitting a pothole and coming to a halt on busy dual carriage. Waited nearly 2 hours to be recovered and taking to tyre garage. While on call I was told to find a garage first with the tyre in stock before sending recovery. Which was a sensible approach but annoying trying to hear people on the phone sitting on a busy dual carriage. Apart from that good service.”

“My car came to a halt 2 weeks ago and had to be put on a rescue vehicle and taken to the dealer. The rescue vehicle came within 15 mins and dealt with it perfectly. I then had a screw in my tyre and had to call out the rescue company again, he arrived by the stated time and changed the tyre within 10 mins and all perfect again. Very impressed with the service allround.”

“The service is very poor. 3 days and 3 different trucks to tow a car with a blown fuse box . Left 20 miles from home to be told to find an alternative way home at 11.30 pm. Then told I had to make my own way back in on the 3rd day for the car to be recovered. Explained I had no car to get there to be told to get the train.”
