“The customer service team are helpful when you ring them. The only concern is when you get the text link to fill in the online form it's a bit confusing when you're not computer literate. The auto phone location didn't give the right location, gave the road over the motorway instead of the motorway.”

“A positive reaction to my problem by the One Call rep and a positive response from the roadside agent meant that by 4pm a new battery had been fitted and the computerised glitches sorted and reset. Thank you.”

“Excellent service to recover my van. Logged my breakdown at 10am, and received a text to say the recovery vehicle would be with me at 11.30am. Thanks also to the local recovery team, who then contacted me to say they would be with me at 10.45am. Vehicle collected and taken to the garage of my choice to be repaired. It couldn't have gone any better in this instance.”

“Appalling… had to pay £20 upfront just to have someone come out, test the battery and say the battery if fine but car would still not start. Asked to be towed home but the recovery would only allow us to. E taken locally - we were 30 miles away. So was left stranded! Absolutely pointless having this breakdown service added to my policy. Very dissatisfied. Please refund the £20 paid for nothing.”

“It was a lengthy process One call operator sent a link which took me eventually to my portal then basically I requested a call by completing a form when I got to the question about who was in the car I put myself as driver but the next step wouldn’t continue unless I put another person in the car with me. This gives a false idea of my position I was alone in a car park. This I feel would affect the time the wait would be as previously women alone would be a priority. I mention this because I waited 2.5 hours being 11.20pm when the recovery vehicle arrived. A 10 minute job. Has made me reconsider using this breakdown service in the future. The questionnaire needs looking at. Otherwise from finally arrived home at 12.30 pleased to back in the warm.”

“Onecall didnt mention that passengers needed to be picked up with the broken down vehicle. Although this seems common sense to some but not the recovery agent. I guess the thought the car drove its self, broke down and called for help.”

“The breakdown truck arrived in less than 30 minutes and the mechanic was helpful, polite and very professional. My only niggle was with the call centre message which was far too long at a very frazzled time. Continually trying to point to the internet for a breakdown is plain ridiculous. Not everyone has internet access 24/7 and some people remain technophobes - particularly seniors”
