“What a great concept "You'll hear it" is. Adam and Peter are my companions through my piano journey. How generous and witty they are. Their skills and insights and patience are outstanding. Who could wish for better teachers. Peter and Adam....move over Morcambe and Wise!... sorry that will be lost on St Louis folk. Thanks to all the other great contributors to Open Studio.”

“It has been a long road to finding your video on continuous scale exercises and locating gravity in arpeggios or scale runs for a chord sequence. I like that immediately your exercises make me feel musical and form a bridge to improvisation. Thank you for the notation of exercises, which helps me to remember what I have learned.”

“Open studio is a very good way to become acquainted or to perfect yourself in jazz up to a professional level. sometimes it's so good that it even becomes mildly intimidating... I currently have a private teacher with whom I have been taking lessons for 22 years and can't take the open studio course because I don't have enough time to take it in addition to my regular lesson preparations and that would be a shame for the money spent. Maybe I'll join later when I have a little more time....”

“I’ve taken in person lessons, online live lessons, and recorded lessons on a variety of websites. For Jazz drumming, this is one of the best I’ve found. Greg Hutchison explains things in a way no one else has. He’s a true master. I haven’t taken the other instructor’s drum courses yet, but looking forward to it. I’ve found that it can be difficult to find drum teachers who really understand jazz drumming and how to teach it. Open Studio and its instructors definitely do.”
