“Yeah, like it alot. I've only been playing piano for 3 years.Guitar most of my life,but broke my wrist where it won't bend for a guitar. The piano is easier on my wrist. I'm taking the jazz chords for beginners with Adam. It's great,and challenging. It will keep me busy for a while. Thanks Steven”

“I would say it has been an outstanding experience. The courses are focused, directed to the individuals level of ability, and incredibly well thought out. The teachers are exceptional. It is well worth ones time, and the cost is quite reasonable. i would hight recommend..”

“I am a classically trained pianist and I have always loved jazz. I also compose and have written a few jazz influenced pieces, not really knowing what I did. Between playing transcriptions and using the courses I purchased I am learning in leaps and bounds. You guys put it into English and your approach makes learning how to play jazz piano very accessible for someone like me who loves jazz and one day wants to improvise.”

“I absolutely love the Jazz Jump Start Open Studio Course! Adam and Peter make learning jazz piano a lot of fun. Adam is a wonderful teacher, and the guided practice sessions make it seem like Adam is right there with you, as close to a in-person teacher as one could have. “I've tried many online courses without being able to find enough motivation to keep on learning. Thus, I am a long run beginner without a lot of time to learn. With open studio jazz, teachers are very cool, have a deep knowledge of their instrument and music style (jazz). But, the most important things to me are that transcriptions are available (even demos) in the workbook, living notation feature is great and we are not fed with too much theory as we start (that, will be smartly added when gaining enough self confidence in being able to play something). Playing by ear and understanding the music soul is coming first, You are never let alone with a lot of theory, They are guiding you in the video for your everyday practice. So great ! It is almost as having a personal teacher at home. They are giving me the feeling that one day, I'd may play a jazz tune by myself, sounding like true jazz that I love. The way is tough but this one seems easier and achievable. Thank you Peter and Adam.”

“Open Studio has some of the best teachers I have seen in the industry. I have been playing the piano for a few years, but, did not have a full grasp of the theories behind what I was doing. I watched my first YouTube preview of a course from Open Studio and I was sold. I am two weeks into my first course now. It is amazing how much I have learned for the past two weeks. Proper chord voicing, scales, tensions, rootless voicing, and the list goes on. Above all, these guys even practice WITH YOU! They hold your hand through proper way to practice, which improves how fast I am able to have the concepts locked under my fingertips. All in all, if you invest in a journey with Open Studio and take your time through the lessons, you will thank me later :-). - Eddie”
