Since I bought the house I have not done anything more than invest money in remodeling the bathroom, the central air in the house burned out and I had to replace it completely. The pipes were not fixed, there was a leak, I had to hire a person to fix it.There was dirt under the rugs and they were not laid correctly. Beneath them was an old vinyl tile and a black floor. There are still humidity problems, although not so much because of the repairs that I have made little by little with my money.Some new windows. and other old ones, it is observed that they can easily be opened. The wood was touched up with paint so that it would not be seen that the wood was eaten by termites.The kitchen drawers made of pieces of wood and with moisture in the pipe. In other words. The person who bought the house to repair it and resell it. Just Re touch up the imperfections.

Agreements were clearly explained; Company was very communicative via phone calls, texts, and email; Questions were answered quickly; Good experience overall with friendly staff. Was able to get what we wanted out of the sale without putting further funds into it.

Open door was easy to deal with and fast. It took a week to schedule a consultation and another few days to get someone out. But it took only 1 day for an offer and we closed 2 weeks after that. The price minus fees I got was what I expected. I might have made more the traditional way but it would have taken months for me to fit in the repairs and showings. I loved the flexibility in staying after closing so I didn’t have to move twice. I would 100% do this again

Bought a house from open door and they basically flipped the house but didn’t fix any internal issues. Had to fight to even get credits for the work that needed to get done which totaled over $12,000. Claimed to have put in a “brand new” HVAC system…. Paid over $1000 to repair it less than a week after closing. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from open door.

Easy straight forward process just be ready to get $50,000 to $60,000 less that what you would going through a conventional realtor. I chose to go with a realtor and made out a lot better and the house sold on the first day it was on the market.

My fiance and I are buying a house, and we've been on the grind trying to get it in before winter ends and everyone starts looking. Our realtor is out of town, so we decided to do some open houses and were excited to have the self-tour option with Opendoor. On a Sunday, we went to three properties that were listed as self-tour. The first one opened with no problem. The second wouldn't open for us, so I called the helpline. After being on hold for some time, the rep told us that we needed to have an agent present to tour the property. Okay? It was listed as self-tour, and the QR code to get in was right there, but we'll just move on. The third property also wouldn't open for us, so I called the helpline again. This is where things really start to go bad. The rep had me try to download the app while he verified our identification. While I was sitting there waiting for the app to download, my fiance also trying to open the house with the QR code, after a few minutes the rep told me that he couldn't verify our identification, and that we'd need to look at any properties with a licensed agent. He wouldn't elaborate further than that, so we just had to leave. The next day I called the helpline again because I really wanted to be able to tour places. Again, our realtor is out of town, and I have an itch to tour places so we can be proactive until he comes back. I talked to a rep, explained the situation, and said that we really wanted to be able to tour places. He took down my information and told me he was going to "escalate" the situation. After only a few minutes on hold, he came back and said that "after reviewing my information" they were not able to grant me access to any properties, and that I would need a licensed agent to view properties. I asked for clarification, asking why specifically I had been denied so maybe I could fix it, and verbatim he told me "I can't disclose that to you." So not only am I personally barred from entering any property, but I can't get an explanation as to why so I can work with them to fix it. I offered multiple forms of ID including driver's license and passport, but he just kept repeating that I would need to have a licensed agent with me and that he couldn't tell me why I was being denied. On top of that, I've since unsubscribed from their "self-tour this property!" emails (since I can't use their services, and frankly wouldn't want to anymore), but they keep sending them to me. However, when I look up the property separately, multiple times it's not even actively on the market and hasn't been for a while. Overall, a very serious 1/5 star. Watch out, if Opendoor decides it doesn't like you, you'll never be able to use it again! But you won't know what you did wrong, and you'll have absolutely no recourse.

My experience with OpenDoor was a breeze. I wanted a quick turn about and that's exactly what I got. Matt worked with me on every question I had and he was always available when needed. We were given a fair price and closing was good. Thanks to Open Door for everything!

We have dogs and both work more than full time. The idea of showing our house with a realtor just would not work. We also, did not want to make a lot of updates to sale. Open door was fair all the way through the process. They worked with us and our builder to close our sale and moved the funds seamlessly. I highly recommend their easy process!

Arranged the appointment for a property inspection after the phone call and they never turned up and went silent. Don't even ask for an offer. They are useless.

Best and easiest real estate deal I have ever experienced. Open Door was a pleasure to work with. They gave us a better offer than the local homebuyers. Everything was done easily on-line. Even the notary came to our house. I highly recommend Open Door.

Initially, the process was started by them giving a $291k - $330k estimate for the house, which was in line with what my realtor suggested to start the house at. After taking a lot of my time to go through their process, and the "opendoor expert" coming to view the home. (He literally just walked through the house and took a few pictures, took about 5 minutes), the final offer was $271k, which is equivalent to what I paid several years ago despite making improvements, but with a claimed $47k (nearly 20% of the sale!) worth of needed repairs. Upon questioning, they don't say what is supposed to need the repairs. I hired a professional inspector to come through the week before to get an idea, and they said to expect about three to five thousand dollars in repairs before putting it on the market, which is nowhere near Opendoor's claim of $47k worth of repairs. It appears that they prey on those that need the convenience of a quick sell, or a flexible closing date, as opposed to giving a fair and decent price.

From the moment I started the process online to the moment I closed, the Opendoor team made the transaction easy and painless. Our house was closed in weeks and we had our funds the day after the move out was verified. I cannot say enough good things about how smoothly the process went and how well I was communicated to the entire time. Thank you Opendoor team!

I am so happy I worked with Opendoor because the process was quick and easy. Price offered was more than fair. I didnt have to have strange people going through my house all hours of the day. The competent people at Opendoor made sure that the process kept moving forward. I ultimately closed sooner than anticipated. Thank you Opendoor
