“We checked out the initial offer on a lark assuming it would be ridiculously low. We had tried to sell our house the traditional way almost two years ago and it was a trying experience, the showings and realtors and ridiculous offers. We engaged a couple ibuyers and investors and their offers were laughable. So needless to say we weren’t expecting much from Opendoor. Were we totally surprised!! The initial offer was good. So of course we expected the virtual walkthrough to be a beating and the final offer would be insulting. Nope! Our agent Johny was great, easy to deal with, professional. And the final offer was higher! We kept waiting for something to go wrong, something to fall apart, some loophole. But it never happened. Smooth sailing all the way through. We couldn’t be more pleased with Opendoor. They have a great formula and honest upfront valuations that are very fair. We would definitely use their service again!”

“I enjoyed the experience. I have to admit that I was initially skeptical, then very excited then concerned and then overjoyed. Lori, was my initial person; communication was very good. Then, apparently she got sick and although her teamates eventually called I was concerned because I thought that maybe I had gotten scammed. Once communication was restored, I felt great! I love the idea of Opendoor and feel much more confident about this and would recommend this approach for selling. Our property was a rental property in Las Vegas. I found Opendoor to be very competitive with any offer that I received and their process was incredibly straightforward. I would definitely use them again. I communicated with the company via text, video conference and email. Communication initially was very quick later toward closing it was much slower which initially caused be a great deal of concern.”

“At first I was skeptical if it was legitimate. After much diligence I decided to give it a try. I received a great offer on my home. The process from start to closing was easy and fast. “I just closed on selling my house. The experience I had with Opendoor was EXCELLENT. The whole team was very responsive, from Tye who took me through the process and was responsive with answering questions to Ashley at title who was also very responsive to questions or concerns and both handling it in a timely manner. There is a nice team approach and even though it’s virtual, like most things these days, Opendoor lays out a process with steps that you follow to reach the goal. I would like to see that path visually laid out on their site when working with the title company. It would help to have those steps mapped out because then it shows where you are in the process and if there’s anything else you need to take care of. In terms of selling a house this way, it was the best—no one walking through your house for all those open houses, no sign in front of your house, no showings you have to prepare for, no money spent on staging the house. It felt like a win-win on both sides. I would do it all over again.”

“I reached out and got an offer. We did the video walkthrough and received the final offer. We liked it and picked a closing date. The mobile notary showed up on the closing date and we signed the papers and I'm not kidding you that I had my money in my account not even 2 hours later. Here are all the words I would use to describe the selling process: easy, simple, piece of cake, transparent. I spent less time overall selling my house, start to finish, than I did in the financing office when I bought my last car.”

“Fast, fair, and convenient with a lot of consideration for the seller even as the buyer. Worked with me even though my home was mid-remodel and looked a lot worse than it really was which would have probably meant I would have had to sell for lower or just stay where I was. I'm very glad they came with a fair offer that I was happy to accept and move out to a new place where my wife and I are much happier.”

“I was a skeptic and concerned that Opendoor would have some type of hidden fee that would pop up somewhere in the selling process, thereby reducing my profit. This never occurred Not only was their offer far more fair than their competitors, they made the selling process less cumbersome than any of the other times I have sold a house in a more traditional manner. From start to finish their rep, Andrew, was in communication with me. He was responsive to all questions or concerns that I had and was a constant source of reassurance during the process. After signing a contract, online nonetheless, the escrow office called the next day and the ball was rolling. I had the convenience of scheduling my closing date and never had to worry that my buyer would cause the sale to fall out of escrow due to lack of funds or qualification issues. This had a level of convenience that far surpassed my expectations and I’m happy I sold to Opendoor.”

“My opendoor experience was pretty good for the most part, we did have a little Hi Cup, but we had are experience partner get us in touch with her manager and everything was cleared up very quickly after that. It was stress free except for the Hi Cup at closing, but once we talked with the management things went right back to stress free and smoothly completed the sale and purchase of a new home across the country. I would use them again.”

“Hassle free from start to finish. Showed it once and sold. Opendoor offered me a fair price, much more than I expected actually. I didn't have to do any repairs. I set the closing date. I was so satisfied by my experience I told my best friend about it and he’s selling his house to Opendoor too. I wish they operated in more states, we would have utilized their transition program.”
