“Everything was smooth & no stress! Exactly what I needed during this process. OpenDoor offered me much more than 2 other places & were transparent with their fees. Maria was so helpful & available whenever I had a question. I highly recommend people use OpenDoor to sell their home!”

“Selling with Opendoor was truly the easiest process. There were no hidden fees or surprises, we knew exactly what to expect and knew exactly what was required of us. Before we accepted Opendoors offer we checked with a local realtor to see what she thought we could sell our house for. We were surprised that Opendoors offer was almost exactly the number the realtor gave us. We initially decided to go with Opendoor to avoid the showings and to have a flexible closing date but when we found out their offer was so competitive it was an easy decision to go with them. The check out and closing process was seamless and made what could have been a stressful move a breeze. We are so glad we went with Opendoor, we couldn’t have had a better experience!”

“My husband and I sold our home to Opendoor. The process was easy and they kept us informed through the whole process. I have already mentioned Opendoor to my friends, neighbors and family who are about to sell their homes. We also received our proceeds the same day we closed on the home. Don’t know if this is normal but it helped us out since we were leaving Texas and moving to Kentucky. I will use them again if I move.”

“Opendoor was a convenient, painless way to sell our home. We needed extra time to move out and accepting their offer and putting the close date out 60 days gave us the time we needed. We also had company during this time and we didn't need to accommodate house showings, inspections or appraisals. Also, their representatives were very patient and helpful during the process!”

“When I first heard about Opendoor, I was a bit skeptical. It all seemed too easy and convenient to be real. But I did a little research, and once I understood how Opendoor worked, I felt comfortable giving it a try. The process to get an offer was incredibly easy, but I was still sure I'd get a low-ball amount. I had a price in my head that I was hoping for and would be happy with, and they ended up exceeding it. From there it was all smooth sailing. I was able to focus entirely on moving instead of dealing with a complicated selling process. I've honestly moved out of rentals that were more of a hassle than selling with Opendoor. I highly recommend giving them a try, and you can always back out! I couldn't be happier with my entire Opendoor experience.”

“I lined up 4 Cash Buyers when we sold our house. OpenDoor was the highest bid. We got to set the closing date and could change it if need be. It was a very easy process which helped a lot during the turmoil of moving. Highly recommend!!!”

“Working with Opendoor was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had. My husband and I are both in the military and found out, late in my pregnancy with our first child, that we would be staying put in our current location for an assignment - about three years. This led us to choose to purchase a home quickly because we had about three months until the baby was due and wanted to beat another rise in interest rates. Us, our realtor, and our mortgage company have worked very quickly and tirelessly to get the process going as fast as possible so we could get settled in the new home before the baby was born. We are now one week away from a scheduled c-section (due to medical reasons), VERY close to closing but delayed because of Opendoor and the seller's scheduling miscommunications on a repair mandated by the VA. Our realtor has done everything she can to work with the listing agent, an employee of Opendoor's, for two weeks now to get us moved into the home before closing (paying rent, signing a contract to remove liability, ensuring insurance coverage over our presence in the home, etc.) so we can set up the nursery and avoid having to move with a newborn and while I am recovering from major abdominal surgery. We cannot wait to move until I am fully healed because we are only two weeks away from our move-out date in the rental home. Opendoor refuses to work with us in the very special circumstance. It is clear to my husband and I that Opendoor is only concerned about money and liability, with zero consideration for the humans on the other end of the deal. The situation seems so ludacris that myself, my husband, and our realtor are not even 100% sure that the listing agent working for Opendoor was willing to ask the seller of the home if they would allow us to move in early; we believe they just made the decision unilaterally within the company. Throughout the last two months, we have observed that our realtor (and ALL of their colleagues) absolutely HATE working with Opendoor because apparently this type of inconsideration and lack of understanding happens all the time. Do NOT purchase a home from Opendoor...go through a different company so you can avoid a situation where you are completely ignored, like my husband and I have been, and are worse off for the whole experience.”

“Deceptive. Went with OpenDoor as my house is not in the best shape and I work overnight shifts so it is difficult to show it. They made me a preliminary offer, which was I wasn't happy with. They sent an "inspector" who walked about the outside of my house taking photos for all of 15 minutes. (They wanted me to leave my gate open and give the "inspetor" access when I wasn't home...ummm, no). I was told I'd have my offer within 48 hours, then radio silence for weeks. I finally pushed the issue in order to get my final offer. I was budgeting for $20k in repairs. The agent told me the repairs were $19,200, which I was happy with. Then they declined because they said the repairs would take too long. Bunch of excuses. Personally think it was because of the slow down in the market. Either way, deceptive practices.”

“I sold my home to Open Door. The Open Door experience was as quick and as smooth as I had hoped. It started with a video walk through and ended with the house sale on the closing date that I chose. There were no intrusive agents or home showings during the process. I had an Open Door representative available to guide me, and answer questions. What sounded like a "too good to be true" process turned into a satisfactory home sale for me.”

“Taking the stress out of the process. I have a very busy schedule and I don’t have time for hand holding or telling anyone how to do their job. As for Samir and Krystal Robb I would give them both 10/10 stars, and I am not kidding. I have high standards for myself and some people accuse me of raising the bar too high for others. Thank you open door because you exceeded my expectations so far and I hope that trend continues through the sale of my own home.”
