“Came in for the consultation, Had them done about 10 days after all fine alough a bit sore, Contacts out after 4 days, Eyes a bit dry and uncomfortable in bright light still. 1 week later no more discomfort vision still blured. 2 weeks after slight blured sight but over all much better now, carrry on as normal.”

“I was fed up with having to put contact lenses in every day or wear glasses. So I decided to have laser eye surgery. My intital surgery was in 2009. This left a very small perscription in both eyes to which I had to have top up treatment. The top up treatment worked a treat on my right eye with vision still excellent. My left eye over time went back to have a small perscription but less than the time before. I went for a 3rd top up treatment on my left eye in September 2012 and now my vision is excellent in both eyes. The whole process was very easy through Optical Express and the staff being supportive of the top up treatments and ensuring it was safe to carry out.”

“Given that I was terrified, and had a prescription from my doctor for a sedative, my experience of surgery passed without pain, trouble or problem and my recovery- as I followed instructions to the letter- has gone without a hitch!”

“As a nervous patient, this was a huge step for me. From the initial consultation to the procedure and onwards, optical express and all of the staff were very supportive. The nurses on the day were great at explaining the process and comforting me. The result: vision better than 20:20, 24 hours after the op. A real life changer! Thankyou optical express!”

“I have had a really good experience with Optical Express. Very efficient and flexible with appointment times and always encouraging for me to come in or ask any questions if I am having any problems. Vision has been near perfect since having the surgery and had no problems at all. Would, and have been recommending to everybody who wears glasses/contact lenses!”

“the service and care I received was exellent and even though I might need one eye enhanced everything was explained in a very easy way and didnt make me feel nervous or worried in any way. All and all a very positives experience , staff are very professional friendly and nice.”

“I am please with the procedure, even if it was really scary,the procedure was painless and my vision after 3 hours was already better. The procedure still really expensive and I hope that my vision will be ok as long as possible. I recommend optical express for the professional care that the staff gave to me and also they were really friendly. Always available to answer any of my questions.”

“Anxiety around surgery is unsettling and pain shortly after surgery and the next day was something I wasn't prepared for. However now on the other side of it with my new dramatically improved vision just think it's amazing how I can see clearly now and I don't take my new eyes for granted. Feel so grateful the surgery was such a success and very happy I no longer have to wear glasses or fiddle around with contacts. It's just wonderful to have these new eyes. It feels absolutely amazing and so wonderful. I'm still in shock to be honest adjusting to life without corrective lenses.”

“Three months after the surgery my vision has greatly improved. Now knowing that one of my eyes is 20-20 means I'm very close to achieving my goal of perfect vision. The dryness I experienced has almost gone and my need for the eye drops has been much less. I'm hoping in a months time both my eyes will be 20-20 and that will be a great feeling.”

“The staff are very friendly and reassuring. The nature of the surgery meant that I was very nervous however all worries were dealt with by the team with professional knowledge and a kind caring manner. I now have better than 20/20 vision and I can now do all the things I wanted to do without the need for glasses hidering my ability to perform in sports and many other activities. I have more confidence as a result of the surgery and am able to see life with a new and invigorating perspective. I would definitely recommend Optical Express to my family and friends.”

“I'm satisfied so far in that my eyesight has improved, still not perfect though but I'm hoping it will improve in the weeks to come. Surgery was quick and painless, recovery was occasionally uncomfortable but no worse than I had been told to expect.”

“Im so glad I finally went ahead with the laser surgery. As everyone says I should have done it years ago. The amount Ive spent on contacts ect I could have paid for my laser sugery along time ago and not have to worry. The procedure is a little painful and I found it was uncomfortable for 2 days after, however it was so worth it and I do not regret it one bit.”

“I was a bit scared of a surgery, I never had any in my life, but I wanted to stop using always glasses every day, every moment of my life, which I found quite uncomfortable and they make me look older. Nowadays after the treatment, I feel much better about the way I look, no need for glasses anymore, and no more problems related to my sight, like wearing glasses in the rain, or being unable to see if I'm having a bath in the sea for instance, I'm glad I decided to have this operation. I will need glasses only for reading, but that is a little detail, the glasses will be less thick. Overall I am quite satisfied about this experience.”
