“I was amazed at how quick the surgery was done and how good my vision was afterwards (amazing). Overall I am very happy with the result 2nd time round. I just hope the distance improves a little more over the next two months.”

“It was a scary experience however my life has improved as a result. I would have liked abit more information about what would happen straight after surgery. e.g i couldn't see after surgery for about a day. Ive heard that you should be able to see clearly straight away (dont know if this is correct or not). However after the first day i can see clearly now with 20/16 vision. However overall, it is amazing!!!”

“I would definitely recommend this to anybody who is thinking of having surgery. I was very nervous about the whole thing, but the surgeon and the nurse were so patient and put me at ease. It was painless the whole procedure and it is such an amazing experience to think one day you have to wear glasses and then the next day after surgery you can see everything without your glasses. I am so happy, it has made it easier for me to watch television and its nice to not have to think about my glasses anymore.”

“The overall results from having had eye laser treatment have been amazing. My range of vision is the most notable enhancement to my vison. Last week on a fantasticaly clear pre-dawn drive from Edinburgh down through the Yorkshire dales I was amazed at how sharp the mountains looked way up in the highlands some 70 miles away. That level of clarity was present all the way as I scanned the landscape from the mountains and back to the comfort and warmth of my car. Crystal clear vision. Happy with that!”

“I have been wanting to have laser surgery done for a while, and finally got round to it at Optical Express. I wish I had done it a lot earlier now. Everything from the consulation to the actual surgery was straight forward. The part I was dreading was the actual surgery but this also was over within a few minutes. The day after surgery was uncomfatable as I have very sensitive eyes but over after a few hours. recommended!”

“I am very happy with my improved vision and perhaps a little sorry I did not get laser eye surgery done sooner. Its great not to be looking for my glasses all the time and not putting contact lenses when on a night out. I feel more free with no glasses and no contact lenses. I hope to learn to swim in the future. Before, I found it hard to make my way around the swimming pool with no glasses and poor vision. I would recommend laser eye surgery although I was a little nervous before the procedure. But it was well worth it.”

“JUST BEING ABLE TO WAKE UP AND SEEING IS GREAT!! I HAVE 2 CHILDREN WHO WOULD LOVE ME TO TAKE THEM SWIMMING BUT COULD NOT BEFORE AS I COULDNT WEAR CONTACTS SO THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE THE WAY WE DO THINGS TOGETHER. ITS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE LIKE BEING OUT IN THE RAIN AND NOT HAVING TO KEEP WIPING RAIN OFF MY GLASSES ETC.”

“I was open minded about what to expect from surgery and found it very painful for about an hour afterwards, but within 24 hours I felt almost fully recovered, and 4 weeks later I am very happy with the results indeed - it has not fully sunk in that I no longer need glasses. I can work for longer without feeling tired and feel my vision is actually better now than when I wore glasses.”

“Had the surgery originally in June 2011; left eye result was excellent whilst the right eye was a great improvement, but not up to the standard of the left eye. Had repeat surgery in August 2012 on the right eye with fantastic results, possible eclipsing that of the left eye the previous year. Recovery was very comfortable (I experienced discomfort the previous year) and I am delighted with the results.”
