“I was worried about all the risks detailed on websites but the surgeon stopped all my worries due to explaining thoroughly. the surgery itself was fairly nerve-wrecking but it was quick and painless and i was informed throughout and after what would happen to my eyes”

“Needed IK in one eye and EK in the other. Initial discomfort post operation but the advantage of having the different procedures meant I was able to get the positives from both and vision was perfect almost straight away.”

“Very satisfied with my overall experience, any questions I had were answered in a friendly and timely manner. The procedure itself was explained in detail to me and was over with quite quickly, I was made to feel relaxed and at ease. The immediate 8 hours after the surgery were unpleasant as I experienced grittyness and a sensation of a foreign body in my eyes. This subsidied and I noticed my eyesight had improved dramatically within 8 hours. 3 months later I am very happy with the treatment, contact lens and glasses free! My only wish is that Optical Express could cure lazy eye completely!”

“I would definitely do it again if I had to and recommend to anyone who wears lenses and I wish I'd done this years ago. Not having to find my glasses in the morning or try and wear my lenses without having sore eyes, it has changed my day to day activities hugely!”

“Definately did not like having to travel so far. Real pain when not used to driving in London. But eye operations were carried out very well. All staff were excellent. Cant really find any fault with the way every aspect of aftercare seems to be covered. So well done.”

“Initial concerns due to eye inflamation would seem to have held back the healing process; however after 3 weeks and very good aftercare my near sight is now better that 20/20 (I am over 50 and had a very strong prescription, having worn glasses for over 40 years!!). I now only need glasses for reading. Thank you to all concerned at Optical Express.”

“I was extremely nervous about the proceedure but all staff were very helpful and reassuring and I was put at ease both before and during. There was discomfort after the proceedure but this was better the next day and continued to get better. I am extremely happy with the results and can see perfectly without glasses!”

“Initial treatment not painful and quick. Staff very helpful and friendly. Eyesight is still a little blurry but it is a lot better than when i used to take my glasses off. Hopefully in a few more weeks my eyesight will be perfect.”

“I am still amazed at my sight one month on, I wish that I had had it done years ago. I'm recommending it to all of my friends and family, if only they could invent other things that are as quick and simple to do, like loosing weight. “I was first thinking about getting laser surgery 2 years ago but never had the time to do it. I then discussed with my husband and we decided that I will do it in christmas as I had the time. I was fed up of wearing glasses as I had been wearing them since I was 17 years old. I am happy now that I do not have to wear them as it is much easier for my job and life in general/ I would recommend anyone to get the surgery done. It still hurts a bit with bright lights and halos around lights but hoping that it will get better as it has only been 3 months.”
