“I am very happy with my expericence and with my "new eyes". I only wish more people would have surgery instead of being scared of the word "surgery" and thinking they are going to go blind. Although it was painful for the first 48 hours and I had to take good care of my eyes for a while. The whole process was surprisingly quick. People appear to be misinformed and all think there is a small chance they may go blind. It's such a shame as it's keeping many people from fully enjoying life without the constraints of glasses or contact lenses. “I was very nervous and worried and had been thinking about laser eye surgery for about 3 years. On the day of the surgery I was shaking, the staff were friendly and tried to re-assure me. In the surgery I did find it uncomfortable but not painfull, it was a strange feeling. After surgery my eyes were extremely red but I could see better almost straight away. The redness did not clear up for a few week but this was purely cosmetic. Now my eyes are brilliant and I would do it again in a minute to be able not to wear glasses again.
