“This is the second time I used parcelcompare the fist time I had no issues as all. I arranged for a collection waited all day and nobody came (DPD) I am struggling so much on finding a way to contact them its literally impossible!! They don't even have a contact number let alone their head office address listed. It's so silly as on some of the FAQ's the website says call our customer service but there is no number!!! Can someone please help advise on how to contact them as even their online form does not work!”

“I booked a collection through them with DPD and they never arrived. When I contacted parcelcompare they initially told me that DPD tried to collect. I challenged this and said that I would check the cameras. They then offered me a refund less their fees or a rebooking which also cost their fees again.
I told them that what they were doing was in breach of my consumer rights and they simply replied that they are a price comparison website and its nothing to do with them if it didn’t work.”

I think that after it now being 10 days since my order was placed and, there has still been no collection, that it is time for a refund.
I am 76 years old. I am self isolating. I have not been off my property since 16/03/2020.
I have CCTV that notifies me (on my mobile) of anyone approaching my house. Many couriers have called but none from Hermes. Not the first time problem with Hermes. Will not use them again! They offered me a link to get a refund and that says I have to pay £6 cancellation fee, for what? Bad service?

“The customer service of this company is terrible. I had a lot of trouble with my parcel and they wouldn't help me to locate my parcel or find out if and when it would arrive. They fobbed me off to fed ex. Fed ex had no new updates on the website when I put the tracking number in. I had to find the fed ex number myself rang them and they suggested different numbers and emails to contact. I contacted all of these and not one of them helped me. I have never had so much trouble with a parcel and companies, one being parcel compare and the other being fed ex who they work with, who they later stated that none of this was their responsibility. My parcel contained gluten free food and vitamins as I have coeliac disease, my parents mentioned it was urgent, stated everything inside the parcel and they allowed my parents to send it. Later when calling fed ex for the 10th time I was told the parcel didn't pass customs because food is prohibited when I needed a permit to say I have a disease, This was not stated to me or my parents. We were not aware of any of this. The customer service from parcel compare stated it was not their responsibility and that my parents should've checked what was aloud into the local customs before sending the parcel! so they will not compensate or refund my parents any money! I asked for a complaint form and guess what? they don't have one, just automated answers to questions which is why I'm leaving this review to say DO NOT USE THIS PARCEL COMPANY. it's not worth the hassle. use someone else who is reliable !”

Shipped a pack of laminate flooring with them in an unopened box. Wrapped in several layers of plastic. Then wrapped in thick brown paper.
Parcel turned up a week late, brown paper and plastic removed and original boxing opened with the boards hanging out and damaged.
Apparently the manufacturers packaging that the product ships around the world in is not sufficient even though it was a triple walled cardboard that was shrink wrapped. And our additional packaging was not enough.
They are a bunch of inept time wasters. I am sure the package was left in a depot for some time, someone opened it to check what was in then re-attached the original shipping label.
I know it was the original label as it still has chunks of the brown paper and plastic wrap that was originally on the parcel.
Do not use them. I know everyone has issues at the moment but for a delivery to take seven days and be totally destroyed without any ownership.
Avoid them at all costs I have passed a warning on to everybody I know.”

I was sent a claim form but as I have no receipts for the small items or for the wool I used for the sweater they will not honour the claim. “Parcelcompare certainly don't seem to care. They gave a delivery date of 23 April, their courier delivered on 28 April. The tracking was useless, never up to date, impossible to speak to customer services. A useless reply from their customer services basically giving no reasons for delay. Fedex, which they used, said it was in their contract that they could not speak to me about delivery. They cannot use Coronavirus as an excuse because they gave me the delivery date, and I might have accepted a longer delivery time had they given an honest delivery date. The tracking was so vague as to be useless. I had taken their word on delivery date and told my customer when to expect the small package. I was lucky he did not cancel order. I would have been better going direct to a courier so be warned.”
