Should have read these reviews before using them!! Do not buy with Parcelcompare. Hermes messed up my delivery and damaged the contents which I had to replace costing me over £50! Hermes even admitted fault, but Parcelcompare refuses to compensate me, using the excuse that I didn't purchase their protection insurance. This insurance costs more than the cost of the delivery, and when you add that on Royal Mail has got a better price and cover. It's ridiculous using the insurance excuse when the carrier is CLEARLY at fault, and they admitted so. Also I had paid for next day delivery and the item arrived over a week late! Stay away from this company.

Wouldn't let me cancel my booking, wouldnt let me use the live chat, wouldn't answer my emails. They managed to take the money for it out of my account just fine though 🙄

Total scam as all say...booked a delivery, they generated labels with the wrong address. then had to pay another £7 to correct the labels. The courier didn't turn up despite waiting in all day and they just sent a note saying they did but with no proof. Their website showed as no attempt to collect. Cancelled the delivery and have been charged a cancel fee, Will see if I get my money back at all. And after all that FAR cheaper to go direct to the end courier (if they even actually send anything? Or is this a pure scam?)

Scam Booked a collection-delivery.. Received a collection time No courier turned up after waiting 9 hours After some time attempting to contact them I can’t , no number, no live chat… Address is a P.O. Box and all attempts to cancel take me in a repetitive loop .. Absolute scam , things are getting worse.. to many scam advertisements on google

Avoid - this is a intermediate service, you package effectively goes to their warehouse first to be reviewed BEFORE it is then sent onto a destination. This generates three issues: - You are at the mercy of a courier who's responsibility ends once it gets to ParcelCompare's warehouse (this is the quoted price you initially receive) - ParcelCompare will then send a separate bill (non-quoted) for any additional charges incurred to get the item to it's location including millimeter size or weight differences. THIS IS NOT DISCLOSED TO YOU AS A CUSTOMER. - For any amendments/cancellations they will charge you, EVEN if the item isn't collected. I waited two days for my item to be collected and it never happened. The only way for me to resolve was to cancel, and then got charged for it. This is a fraudulently operating business, they do not DECLARE what part they play in the end-2-end process and are essentially making up reasons to charge you along the way, essentially holding your items hostage. DO NOT give them any cash, bank details, paypal account, they will apply charges without your knowledge and consent. Please READ this! TLDR: It's a SCAM - RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK

For your own good DO NOT USE this company, complete scammers !! Just go direct to any one of the mainstream couriers and save some money / heartache ! this lot shafted me big style.

Please avoid this company at all costs. They would mention that parcel was incorrectly measured and take additional payments by charging your card without your knowledge. Unbelievable!

Lost my parcel, we're extremely unhelpful when trying to locate it and then would not refund me when I'd taken out extra insurance. Feels like a complete scam, avoid at all costs

People beware of this company I have sent many parcels to the Philippines from the UK. They never arrive on time always 3 to 5 days late. This time I sent 2 boys suits 5 and 9 year old it weighed 1.8 kilos. Took a week to get there even though I paid for 2 to 3 days. Then I was charged an extra £11+ as they said it weighed 3.5 kilos which I paid. So this time I put a claim in for late delivery. Excuse was it needed an x-ray that's why it was late. But none of my parcels have ever arrived on time. But as soon as you put a claim in out comes the excuses so beware people

They may be cheap but when it does, putting it right is not going to be easy. My first and ONLY time I used parcelcompare resulted in my item was received by the purchaser in a totally unusable condition. "Yes we will look into it" they said, provide pictures of the item and the packaging and we will consider a claim. How are you going to explain the condition of the parcel after it has been cut open to remove the item, only to find it no better than scrap. TO BE FAIR.....customer services were on the ball in replying to my numerous emails. One of them tried the empathy vote saying " I would feel exactly the same if I was in your position" Flip side is, as a gesture I had the cost of postage refunded, which to me is a owning of the problem and admitting I had a claim. YEAH RIGHT Best advice.......stay well clear of this service...wish I had

Dreadful company. Avoid at all costs. They didn't send the shipping labels I needed to post my parcel, and it was impossible to contact the company. None of the contact or messaging links on their website worked, and there's no phone number to call. In the end I contacted the carrier (TNT) directly out of desperation as the parcel was due to be picked up and I had no labels. Luckily TNT were helpful. They emailed me the labels within less than a minute of me calling them, and I was able to send the parcel. I will never go near ParcelCompare again. They're a scam. Much better to deal directly with the carrier without a middleman. Beware of using them, they're crooks. A complete ripoff. If I hadn't contacted the carrier directly, I'd never have received any shipping labels and would have been unable to send the parcel. And there would have been absolutely no way of ever getting a refund as ParcelCompare are not contactable.

Absolutely awful company. I thought I was getting good vlue as the price seemed reasonable but sending an equipment part from London to Ireland, which normally takes three working days is still not here after three or four weeks. Firstly parcel went missing, then it arrived back at the senders address. We informed them of this, not the other way around. Then they asked us to provide labels which they supplied in the first place. Then they asked us to re book the delivery. It just goes on and on. It has cost us about 500 to 600 euros and we cannot even phone them as they do not provide this service. Disgusting service from a horrible company

Dreadful service. They refunded me when my parcel got lost - but didn't seem to realise that a refund entails giving me my money back! They sent me dozens of emails explaining why they hadn't sent the money and eventually I just gave in and wrote to my MP. A lot of good that will do as well!

I should have looked at these reviews before using the company. I paid them £70 to ship a parcel to Japan, they told me the address was incorrect and my time to ship had lapsed. I would get my parcel returned to me but at a cost of £93, which I refused to pay. They then took the amount straight out of my bank account! My bank were too late to stop the amount and I still haven't received my parcel back, despite it being in the next county. Since when does it cost more to ship to the next county in the same country, than sending overseas? They now have a very expensive item of mine and £163 for doing nothing. No doubt they'll sell my item and make even more money from it. All attemps at contacting the company have failed, they refuse to answer emails, letters of complaint, nothing. If you are looking here to get some advice about using this company, I'm pleading with you - DON'T! Complete scam artists and have reported to Trading Standards.

Thought great del good, sent 2 car seats 30 kilos but sent 45 kilos to cover costs. Just taken another £100 claiming 111kg and driver lifter outer of my car. Like to know who can pick this box up

Absolute joke, expensive delivery because I needed it by a certain date, shows up 6 days late, if they couldn’t deliver a package on time they should of guaranteed it, also tried to charge on top of that, and no help or support what so ever
