“It's always a potential risk diving into the world of buying expensive tech online, especially when it's with a company you have never dealt with before. However, I gave it a try and I'm very glad I did. I knew roughly what I needed so I was prepared for the major "upsell" but, to my very pleasant surprise, I was guided to exactly what I needed. No railroading into something I couldn't afford and, more importantly, talking to someone who understood exactly what I was talking about. The honesty and transparency of PC Specialist is, without doubt, the best experience I've had. Easy tracking of progress and delivered on time and with care. If you need a PC, then PC Specialist are, in my opinion, the real "go-to" people.”

“I wanted to build a top end PC for my sim rig. PC Specialist custom PC builder was great for someone like me who wasn't sure what bits went with what, or what specific parts were needed for the top end GPU and CPU. I also jumped into the online chat for some advice and the advisor was extremely helpful, even explaining with some parts I had selected on the builder that they were not the best fit even though they were more expensive, and helped me pick the right part. The advisor wasn't trying to upsell me for bits I didn't need and that is a breath of fresh air. I was kept updated with the progress of the build from order received, build and testing stage. The PC was built, tested and sent within 10 days. When it arrived, it was well packaged, and looked like it was put together with care. I love the new PC and am really happy with the whole process from initial order building to receiving my PC.”

“I spent a long time figuring out exactly what I needed and compared options from various PC builders and off-the-shelf suppliers. I tried multiple test builds across different configurators, and theirs was by far the best—simple, intuitive, and easy to use. The ordering process was smooth, and communication throughout was excellent. You receive regular email updates, and you can track each stage of the build on their website. Their configurator checks component compatibility, but I did receive an email explaining that the AIO cooler I’d chosen wouldn’t fit in the case. They suggested an alternative, which I was happy with, and they quickly refunded the price difference. Once the PC was built, they sent a 360-degree video of the completed system. The build quality was great, with very tidy cable management. They then tested it for a day or two before dispatch. Everything checked out fine. Delivery via DPD was excellent, and the packaging was very secure. I haven’t really pushed the PC to its limits yet, but it’s impressively quiet—something I was initially concerned about given the extra fans and water-cooling pump. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.”

“Cannot fault PC Specialist at all. Easy to order, next day delivery as promised and no issues. Having had several PCs from PC Specialist over the years, they are the first company I look at for PCs. Never had to use the warranty at all and hopefully it remains that way”

“I recently ordered a custom PC from this company, and overall my experience has been very positive. Their prices are highly competitive, especially considering the quality of components offered. The build itself is excellent clean, well-organized, and professionally assembled. Everything worked perfectly straight out of the box, and there were no issues with delivery or installation, which made the whole process smooth and hassle free. The only downside I experienced was the long waiting time for customer support. While they were helpful once I got through, the response times could definitely be improved. Despite that, I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would still recommend them for anyone looking for a great-value, well-built custom PC.”

“Good communication throughout the process, parcel arrived as expected and was well packaged. On opening up the delivery, found the pc to be well built and nice and tidy inside the case. Once connected up it ran well without any glitches and ran reasonably quiet considering the specification and all the fans installed. Would happily recommend them.”

“I am totally blind—and for this and other reasons I practically live on my computer. I also need a large amount of internal storage for my audio collection, which was the main reason I decided on a custom build. My previous experiences with these have not been the best, and after a very happy six years with an off-the-shelf HP Envy, I embarked on the process of configuring a custom PC with not a little trepedation. I really don't think I could have made a better choice than PC Specialist. While I would say their website could be improved a little in accessibility terms, once I had learned my way around, I was able to find the device I wanted and to customize it with relative ease. I was given a lot of help and reassurance by moderators and contributors on PC Specialist's dedicated forum, which I strongly recommend to anyone who, like me, is 'feeling their way'. I was given further invaluable assistance by the customer service team, who largely concurred with the suggestions given me by the forum members, but also gave me additional information and advice about the components I was considering. Everyone I came in contact with throughout the process was friendly and supportive. When it _finally_ came to the crunch, the ordering process was almost unbelievably easy. After weeks of working out what each component did, and which might be the best for my particular needs, the finished configuration was ordered in less than half an hour! I had a clear breakdown of just how much each item would cost, and a comprehensive set of delivery and installation options, also clearly priced. After ordering, I was kept regularly abreast of the progress of my computer's construction and testing. I was contacted by the team, who informed me that my selected AIO cooler was too large, with another item I required, to be mounted in the optimal position. They suggested I swap for a slightly smaller cooler of the same make. I agreed to this and received a refund of the lower price balance. I was equally well-informed about the delivery, which went off without a hitch. There were a few days' delay before the physical installation, (I'd opted for self-installation but of course needed some sighted help) but once this was done I was even able to set up Windows (from the out-of-box experience) by myself using Microsoft's basic Narrator screen reader. The computer is impressive, powerful and responsive. After about ten days of use all is going well. I would recommend anyone looking for a custom built computer to look first to PC Specialist.”

“Machine delivered on time, but would have appreciated a handbook for the laptop not the desktop version. Had real problems at first due to inconsiderate power failures. However the guys at PC Specialist came to the rescue really quickly and pinpointed the potential problem with downloading from the internet. Could not be happier now the laptop fly's Thank you PC Specialists.”

“Easy to navigate website which made fine-tuning the spec of my gaming PC childs-play. This was followed by a simple ordering and monitoring system which allows you to track your PC's progress as it is building, testing and finally shipping. Delivery was spot on, and the instructions on how to set up and start using the PC were simple and effective - I was on line within minutes. I am delighted with the blistering performance - achieving 144 fps with maxed out graphics, despite this being very much a middle of the road machine. I highly recommended PC Specia olist”
