The customer service after my order was poor which is a shame as the two machines I bought are good. I had an issue with a monitor 6 days in and initially was told that sending it the manafacturer was probably quicker than them. At this point I told them to cancel my other order if this was what customer service looked like. They then offered to collect my faulty monitor, inspect and send a replacement. Great, so I sent my monitor back and continued with my other order. I was originally told that my monitor replacement would take "a few days, a week at most". I emailed on Wednesday to say that it had been a week and I hadn't heard anything, was there an update? I was told my monitor was ready for dispatch and probably would be out for delivery that day or the next. Two days later, I emailed again to say that I hadn't received my monitor or any notification of it being dispatched. I was then told it wasn't dispatched, but "due to the nature of the issue" (which they absolutely knew about since there had been extensive communication and lots of pictures!) it had been sent back to the manafacturer. They might hear from them at some point next week and then they'll be in touch with me. So, either the middle agent was either lying, hadn't bothered to actually check or a combination of the above. Buy a PC by all means, but if it has a problem, it's going to be a battle.

Bought an expensive prebuild. The arrival and technical support is fantastic, can't fault it. It's just frustrations that has lead me to provide this negative review. Upon arrival, the RAM and Graphics Card weren't installed correctly, leading me to believe this was knocked about hard in transit or was rushed. Numerous BIOS restarts to actually get the PC to run, then a full day of running tests and checks. For the value of the build, I expected better. And now I'm having issues when starting the computer back up. The night before I would shut down as you would any computer when you're done with it. The next day starting up it would end up back in BIOS claiming the PC had been forced shut down. Which leads me to believe there is a faulty component somewhere. This has happened twice since I purchased a month ago, which has me concerned about the future implications.

I am sorry that I have not had a positive experience from PC Specialist since there are many positives about the company’s approach that I want to support. First though the site suggested that I could get three day delivery on the laptop I ordered I was called to say some components like the base and screen were not available and could be weeks to come back into stock. I decided to opt for what was in stock this also involved a change of processor and a bigger base unit and an extra £73. From revising my order on 12th delivery was actually on 20th. The laptop is OK a except the sound configuration causes an substantial lag. I have called the support team. Who are excellent they accessed my computer and worked to sort out the lag partially; it still exists on Bluetooth. The engineer gave up and said he would consult colleagues and call me back he did not do so. So that’s the current position when I received a request to write a review. I have a £1000 plus laptop that does not really work. I have invested many hours trying to fix and had good support from PC specialists in trying to sort out the problem BTW the sound from th onboard speakers is pathetic. Apart from that it was a good experience. Quite quick to contact customer and tech support and very decent staff when you get through. I think I may just have been unlucky but the follow up on my problem has been poor.

Overall, it's been a mixed experience buying my new PC from PC Specialist. I'm very happy with the performance of the PC (now that it works) But there have been some setup issues, and quality control oversights, which I'm not happy about considering the price I paid for this PC. Firstly, I've owned the PC for 10 days, and the GPU (worth £800) is already beginning to "sag" or "bend" because it's installed without any support at the front end of the PC case. Massive oversight, GPU support brackets should be included as standard in all PC builds. Support brackets are so inexpensive it's trivial, PC Specialist should know better. This GPU in particular is very "chunky" and requires support at both ends. It's extremely annoying, it looks ridiculous after just 10 days, and I'm worried that my expensive GPU is going to become damaged (if it isn't already) Secondly, Windows was badly corrupted on arrival, I was unable to update anything at all. I had to do a complete re-install of Windows to rectify the problem. Third, none of the RGB lighting controller programs were installed on arrival, and the RGB lighting cannot be controlled by a single program, you need at least 2 separate programs (Corsair iCUE & ASUS Armoury Crate) to get the RGB lighting to match up. Both programs had to be downloaded manually, nothing was pre-installed. The dust filters on the PC case were also fitted incorrectly. After owning the PC for just 7 days I had to disassemble the whole case myself to install the dust filters correctly. And lastly, this PC case (Corsair 280X) doesn't have any exhaust fans fitted, and there's no option to have them fitted, despite there being space for 2 exhaust fans. Again this is a huge oversight, as the PC case suffers badly from trapped heat. Good stuff: The PC is extremely powerful, it plays 4K games at 120+ FPS without breaking a sweat. Now that I have rectified most of the problems myself, it's a good PC and I'll be keeping it for a long time. In my opinion, my build was "rushed" by PC Specialist because I selected the "3-day fast track" option, several things were missed or overlooked to get my build out of the door on time. I would have preferred a delay to make sure it was built properly, rather than spending 10 days rectifying problems myself. I didn't pay extra for a "rush job".

My original laptop purchase was sent back 4 times for repair in as many months and when I requested a refund I was refused as they claimed to be unable to replicate the latest fault. A week later, as they were testing the unit to send back to me, I was contacted and told that they had identified an entirely unrelated fault and was therefore now eligible for a refund. Wanting to keep me as a customer, they offered to send a replacement unit of equal value with similar or better specification, classed as a new purchase using a credit note so that I would still be eligible for the 14 days return period should I change my mind. When this new purchase arrived it had been sent with a European plug instead of a UK plug and I had to wait an additional 4 days for the correct piece to arrive. I can at least report that there have been no issues with the new laptop once I was able to start using it.

Good sales experience; disappointed by after-sales support. PC was missing a GPU support bracket for a 4090 GPU that was sent out. However the bracket received didn’t fit the PC. Upon reporting this, I was not told that the GPU doesn’t need one. I was also recommended to buy a support bracket if I so wish. I’ve also noticed from the forums currently: “BRACKET INCLUDED AS STANDARD ON 4070 Ti AND ABOVE”. I’m not filled with confidence that the GPU doesn’t need a support bracket. While the customer service communication was good, I don’t feel they did enough to resolve the situation. Otherwise easy to use website; good selection of configuration options; good communication overall.

PC appears to be well made and runs well, I don't know much about PCs and this was bought on behalf of my son and my only gripe is a 2GB graphics card has no place in a modern gaming PC from what I read online and from current game specifications games need to run. Maybe it's my fault for not reading up before I purchased or maybe a 2GB graphic can't shouldn't be in a PC titled a gaming PC.

Price was very reasonable and competitive. The issue came with the customer service and delivery. I selected the 9-11 day turn around (Acceptable time frame), I contacted them after 9 days (Not working days) and asked if I could pay them to get it to me a bit faster as I had a client waiting on me. I was told that it wouldn't be worth it and my system would be with me by working day 11. On working day 11 I got an email to say the system was "Being Built", which was not good, So I contacted them to see if I could get it out for a Weekend Delivery, to which I was told "No". Long story short, lots of emails later. I recieved my system on working day 17. Unacceptable. I lost the client because of it!

Pc arrived and the power was not connected to the board. These clips don't come undone in travel. It makes me wonder if there had been any testing done at all.

Delivery was late and then lost so once found had to collect from depo supposed to be two person delivery because of size and weight then the build had to take whole thing apart to get extra hard drives put in yes they did put in the extra Sata cables but kind of feel that was the only thing they did right over all will not be getting anything from them again and just hope it doesn’t go wrong

The first custom pc was outstanding. The second one, full of issues, a poor support. Power options that hidden by software although they claim they are not until you show them a screenshot on how you did it. They sent a laptop with a keyboard with an issue on a letter I wanted to buy the keyboard and install it myself I can't they need the computer, so Ill be without it for a few weeks. Even though the support offer something else. Like if its a big secret that TongFang builds the mainboard and even other pieces. Almost 3k and dissapointed. Specially at their responses.

There was nothing wrong with ordering from the web site. The supply of information while building was good. The problem was that the PC would not boot up correctly. The PC would boot but it needed two goes. When I open the lid and with a Gigabyte manual I found no battery on the motherboard. I bought a battery from Amazon and the problem disappeared. PC now works as expected it would. Something missing in the predelivery checking.

NOT THE SERVICE I EXPECTED!! Firstly, on unpacking the machine, my engineer discovered that it would not start up because the graphics was not properly seated - screws loose and a slight twist to the frame. Luckily he managed to resolve the issue but this took time. SO MUCH FOR PRE-DELIVERY TESTING!!!! Secondly, the Home/Student package which was ordered was not included. This involved phone calls and about 25 minutes of download time (my internet speed is only 20megs) and again extra cost was involved for engineer time.

The PC I ordered would not boot up into Windows. Contacted Customer service who advised to check the leads from the SSD card and found that the cable linking it to the motherboard was not plugged in properly. I ordered a digital copy of Office 2019 which I presumed was installed for me but it wasn't. Again I had to contact customer service to sort it out. PC now working fine but disappointed that my issues were not sorted prior to delivery. However customer service was brilliant however.

When I placed my order, I called to make sure some extra notes would be added to the work order. I'm terrible with hardware, and as I wanted to add 2 more hard disks, I requested for the connector cables for those 2 disks to be left in bays 2 and 3 (instead of having cable ties that make them hard to reach, as is the default) The order was assembled very fast (extra * for that), but guess what happened: I got the box, opened it to plug the disks, and no cables in bays 2 and 3. They didn't even send the cables on the intro box - I had to reuse some from an old computer. The fact that a simple customer request got ignored took all the joy from receiving it quickly and forced me to a full hour of painstaking work that I didn't need if only they followed my instructions.
