Order my new desktop pc which was delayed due to an error which needed testing, as a tester im fine with that and like the idea that PC's are tested before leaving your depot. Desktop gets despatched and delivered, no problem. I unpackage the desktop PC, check everything looks Ok, power it on and the noise coming from the PC was ridiculous, incredibly loud like a motorbike. As per the instructions I can't reboot until Windows 11 is setup so spent the setup with this ridiculous loud noise. Reboot and the noise goes away but now the PC sounds like a really loud hoover. It's completely unsuitable and I'm very disappointed that I get a desktop PC that is unusable. I log a complaint which took two emails from myself before this was acknowledged and Im now 8 days on since receiving this PC and all ive had from PCSpecialist is an email confirming my complaint which I forced you to provide me. I spent £1800K on a PC that was faulty on delivery, no decent customer service yet and I've no idea when I can expect this dealt with. I've been using desktop PC's since 1990, i rely on my PC at home for work and personal interests, now im stuck using an old laptop till this is rectified. Massively disappointed. Attached are the two videos showing the initial setup noise and the hoover noise is makes when sitting idle with nothing running. How would i be able to use Teams on a PC that's so noisey?

I bought a 7000£ gaming desktop PC from PCSpecialist. About 6 months in, it started having random issues with graphical stuttering which I reported to PCSpecialist. It's now been more than 1 month of going back and forth with their Support Teams. I have to call them every week just to get an update (or else I hear nothing back at all). I do this only to be asked to send the same information and logs over and over again with the only explanation being "It's a very odd issue". It's the worst IT Support experience I've had, and I've been working in IT for years and dealing with all sorts of IT Departments. Do not recommend.

My laptop developed a hardware fault more than one month ago. Despite having bought "gold" warranty from PCS, I was forced to explain the problem to no fewer than 12 of their "support" staff and the issue has STILL not been resolved. I have wasted many hours on this matter, including dozens of emails and phone calls of up to 47 minutes, spending long periods on hold and then patiently explaining everything over, and over, and over again, only for the person I spoke to then vanish and another person taking over after a further delay, with messages going unread, calls unanswered, nobody ever calling me back despite promising to do so, having to restart from a blank slate yet again, again and again and again. It seems PCS are only interested in wearing me down and running down the clock on their service contracts. I am truly disgusted by all of this. They should be ashamed of treating anyone like this.

I brought a custom laptop from PC Specialist for my daughter who is at uni, as her laptop was begin to show signs of failing. The order number is 2304780 and the total order price is £2,655.00. After receiving notification that the laptop was completed ahead of schedule, I asked if I could pay the extra for weekend delivery and have it shipped straight away. This was the first time I had phone PC Specialist customer support, and the impression I got was very bad. I was told that customer service department had no access to the delivery department and could not even send an email to that department to ask if my request was possible. I waited the extra 4 days for the laptop to arrive. When it did I arrive, I was shocked to hear from my daughter that PC Specialist had installed windows 11 professional. I had specifically stated that I wanted windows 10. I am an IT professional, and I know that the early versions of Microsoft operating systems are for Beta test dummies. I had advised my own company not to install. I phoned customer support, who were initially very accommodating, and told me that they would send a USB to my daughter with a boot-able installation of windows 10, and they would confirm their actions with an email later that day. I did not receive an email, and my daughter did not receive the usb drive. When I phone to find out what had happened, I was simply told that customer service had asked the company, and no USB could be sent. I explained my position on the operating systems, that it was their mistake not mine to install windows 11, and that I had spent £2,655.00 with their company. I explained the distance selling laws which provide the customer with a no quibble right to return any goods within 14 days and told them that If this was not resolved, that I would use this option. I asked to speak to a manager, or a supervisor and I was told that this was not possible, with the only option being that I would receive a callback form a manager within 24 hours. I asked for the customer service representatives name and or staff number. He told me it was "Thomas Dick". I tried to call customer support a number of times. The first time I was on hold, the automated system kept telling me that my call was important and that I had 4 minutes left to wait for over 20 minutes and I eventually gave up. The second time I waited over 30 minutes and finally got through to gentlemen named Stephen. After providing him with my order number he told me that there were no notes on the file, but that he would speak to the person who last spoke to me. I asked for details of this person and was told it was Fran lazzarno who was a supervisor at the company. This is the person who identified himself as "Thomas Dick". After 10 miutes of being put on hold Stephen came back and told me that the issue would not be resolved and there was nothing else he could do. I asked for the name of the manager that was working at the time. I was told it was Mustaffa. I asked to speak to him, and Stephen put me on hold again for 10 minutes. When he came back he told me that he could not find the manager. I asked how many people were working with him that evening and he said 5. I explained that it is very hard to believe that you could lose someone in a team of 5. Stephen said he would try to look for him again and he put me on hold. After 10 minutes the call was surreptitiously dropped. I tried to call back and was left in a holding loop for over 20 minutes. I have emailed the company many times to complain. They have yet to respond to a single mail. I spent £2,655.00, thankfully due to distance selling laws, I can claim my money back now that I have returned their goods. I would never do business with this company, and would urge everyone to think twice before using them.

I would NEVER advise anyone to buy… I would NEVER advise anyone to buy here unless you live in the UK. Long story short, i had a ton of problems with my defiance xs 15 inch laptop. And right now, i have been waiting for almost 4 months for my laptop and motherboard to be repaired. And now they charge me 698 pounds for the repair! Beside that, i have noticed thay pcspecialist remove negative comments here on trustpilot, so be aware. This company is under all critique!

Purchased a PC for £2,142.00, which included a GTX 1080ti worth around £800. Within 18 months the card had developed a fault with It's memory. I contacted support who took 2 week to reply to the RMA, saying the card was under warranty and I should return to them for a replacement or a refund at the current market value. After sending the card it took another 40+ days before I heard anything, which was an email saying "the card has been booked back into stock [with PC specialist] and was being shipped to me shortly. I was slightly confused by this as there was no information on whether it was my card that had been repaired, or a new or used replacement. Etiher way I waited until it turned up, only to find it was the exact same card with the exact same issue. Emailed PC Specialist saying I want this issue resolved within 5 working days, they have completely ignored the email so am currently in contact with Trading Standards as they are in breach of their terms and conditions and warranty. I'd advise anyone to check out Overlockers instead as I have also purchased from them in the past and they provide a much better service.

WARNING. PC Specialist Boot Logo Issue. WARNING! I Purchased a laptop that had a boot problem from day one. The problem appears to be something to do with the PCS logo. IT would randomly freeze and not boot past the PCS logo onto windows. DESPITE PURSCHASING EXTENDED WARRANTY, I have had my RMA declined. I ordered this laptop on 21st september 2020, and it arrived on the 06th October 2020, I raised the claim for return for refund on 10th November. Was getting the item packaged for the return when by chance I logged into my PCS account only to find the RMA status as DECLINED. I have had no customer service rep contact me or deal with my concerns directly. I've only received the most superficial general automated email responses. DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE. DON'T BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. DON'T BUY FROM PC SPECIALIST.

Price is actually not the problem - the delivery of a non-performing PC is the issue. Customer service is non-existent, and they like to avoid being told the truth. Avoid them like the plague.

Very easy to use website - bought 3 different computers from them. Always fantastic technical support and communication. Great pricing and customer support to help those who are less tech savvy. Highly recommend.

Excellent service I had had my eye on a machine from another supplier when I stumbled on PCS. The PC I ended up with was better spec’d and very competitively priced Customer service before I bought was really helpful, delivery was prompt and communications were excellent Once set up after sales and tech support have been great Overall- the perfect score

Very good communication throughout the process. Was able to build a laptop to my course’s specifications for cheaper than a prebuilt unit of the same specs.

Very disappointed with the quality of the build and the PCS so called quality control. £1500 PC was delivered with clearly visible bare wires, most likely the insulation stripped off during the build when they were pulled through the metal holes in the casing, fortunately these bare wires were nicely cable tied to other system cables and so luckily just avoided touching the metal case and blowing the motherboard. The GPU support bracket was installed, just a shame it was not adjusted to actually support the GPU card, a 10mm gap between the bracket and GPU should have been quite visible to the builder and QA inspector, the adjustment was tightened so its not something that changed during shipping. I specified an extra case fan in the order, this was fitted blowing directly at the exhaust fan, not only making it completely ineffective but actually making the case cooling worse as it reduced the effectiveness of the exhaust fan in removing the hot air from the case. The reason it was fitted where it was seems to be the length of the fan wire being insufficient to reach any other connections on the motherboard, so rather than install it properly with a fan extension wire they just took the easy option during the build. The PCS case is actually quite nice quality (PCS PRISM-X ARGB MID TOWER CASE), it is a shame however that the 3 front fans only operate at full speed (SATA supplied) with the mesh panel at the front too small to allow all three fans to draw in enough air to function effectively. All the other openings seem to have nice dust filters, just not for the intake of the 3 front intake fans so its going to be a very dusty system inside with the front fans running full speed all the time with no dust filter (let alone the unnecessary noise and energy consumption). Customer support was very good, its just a shame that the build and QA were so poor. Other than the issues above, the PC is good with the GPU & CPU fans inaudible over the noisy front case fans even when gaming. However it really should not be up to the end user to open up the PC and check for multiple build faults.

This latest machine is I believe the sixth machine I've ordered for myself or my family from PC Specialist across the last 11 years. Why? Because I've found they offer an unbeatable combination of being able to buy near-enough the exact machine I want (down to component level of specifying exactly what disk or memory will be in there) alongside excellent value and reliability.

As an architecture firm, we heavily rely on high-performance PCs to run our intricate CAD and visualisation software. We invested approximately £3000 in a high-spec PC from PC Specialist, expecting it to meet our business-critical needs. Unfortunately, within just three weeks, we encountered a GPU error leading to system shutdown. This malfunction has left us scrambling to meet an imperative deadline, jeopardising our business and cash flow. Timeline of Events: • 27/09/2023: PC encounters GPU error. • 27/09/2023: Engage with customer service for about 1 hour. • 27/09/2023: Mem Test performed overnight reveals 226 RAM errors. • 28/09/2023: Another extensive discussion with customer service lasting 1hr 20 mins. PC Specialist presented four potential resolutions, with the fourth being the most pragmatic. However, it entails us purchasing new RAM upfront and seeking a refund for the original RAM only after its return. Our grievance is twofold: 1. We were delivered a PC, at a significant cost, which either had a faulty component or was incompatible with the system's requirements. 2. As we grapple with the repercussions of a non-functional PC, we are further inconvenienced by the proposal to incur additional costs to rectify what seems to be an oversight on PC Specialist's part. Our expectation, and we believe reasonably so, is for PC Specialist to swiftly rectify errors on their end, especially when their product falls short of its purpose, without passing on the burden of additional costs or extended downtime to the customer. PC Specialist, when your product is found wanting, swift and cost-free solutions are essential, particularly when your oversight negatively impacts a business's operations. We hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution.

Wasn't going to write a review but they emailed me twice now, when I frist got my pc I would have given the 5 star, however after 3 days of my pc arriving the gpu stopped working, so I emailed tec support which didn't reply for 4 days, I called them after waiting a day after being told by customer services that they reply within 24 hours, the first guy I spoke too was no help said he would get back to me the same day after looking at the log files I sent, so I had to call again, to finally get someone that was willing to put the time in to help after 2 hours on the phone he sent me the gpu replacement (would give him five star). Overall I wouldn't buy from here unless your lazy like me and don't wont to build your pc your self or don't know what your doing

Below is a reply to an email from PC Specialist which I think says it all. I was also charged £69 to be informed they are unable repair a hardware fault on a PC they built, but they were willing to sell me another PC. Thanks, but will not be taking up your proposal to purchase another PC from yourselves. This PC developed the exact same fault 14 months after purchase and was brought back into service by myself inserting the graphics card into another slot on the motherboard. The fact that this PC has only had light use and cost in excess of Four Thousand pounds is to say the least disappointing, together with the fact that you are unable to repair your own computers. In the past I have purchased seven computers from Dell and not one developed a hardware problem. The only reason for replacing each one was to upgrade memory, graphics capability and speed etc. For this reason I think I will be reverting back to a more reliable retailer. As stated in your email I would like the PC returned unrepaired as soon as is convenient to yourselves. Lastly, I would like to comment that I find it very strange that a company called “PC Specialists” are asking me to source parts to repair a PC that you have built!!

Bought my first gaming PC with PC Specialist and I'm so happy that I did! The website and the ordering process was so easy to navigate through. Has a good variety of specs and customising options - total utter freedom. Pricing was good - turned out to be similar to if I had bought the parts separately. Really appreciated the compatibility function after choosing specs, saving so many first-time pc gamers - so user friendly! Really liked the quote function, didn't feel rushed to complete the order and allowed me to customise to my heart's desire and till fully satisfied. After ordering, communication was 10/10: the updates via email and the order website page kept me informed throughout the entire process of building, testing, fixing and dispatching. I also loved the transparency during the building phase: being able to see a sneak-peak of the build (just adds to the excitement of waiting for PC to arrive) and being able to adjust configuration if you want. Dispatch and next-day delivery was also 10/10: fast and efficient (the fact you use DPD was the selling point for me, knowing that my PC will arrive safely and can be redirected to collection point if I'm not at home).
