“A very good quality harness. I use it because it has been recommended to me by dog trainers. I had to replace two of the original sections because my do rubs himself against walls. He damaged some of the material near the fastening, causing me to have to replace them. The material around the clips on the new sections, seems to be more robust, so hopefully it will last longer! Putting the three parts together can be confusing and particularly with the first one I bought. Once it's put together it's easy to get on and off but if someone has taken him for a walk and they unclipped differently to me, it has been confusing putting it together again. It seems to have been much easier since I had the replacement. The two news sections I bought were put together and it was easy to add the top section. The customer service is good. The staff are friendly and the order was dispatched very quickly.”

“Got the paco pouch for me and my dog as always struggled to find a bag that could take treats and all my things. Unfortunately I had issues with delivery no fault of perfect fit but they were so helpful and understanding and made sure I got my item. My only issue is the strap, for round your waist or cross body it really is not big enough, unless you are super skinny. I hope to get another strap elsewhere because I love the bag as do the dogs now they know it has treats in it !”

“This is a lovely harness but as I have a nervous dog she is struggling to wear it. It would be lovely to see the same harness but in a lighter model. We are using desensitization training to help her adjust. Jackie S”

Thank you for your review, Jackie :) I'm sorry to hear that your pup is struggling with the harness. There are some cross overs between the size ranges so, depending on your dog's bread and girth measurement, we may be able to offer a more light-weight option. “My new puppy loves her new harness, so do I. 😁 It's a very comfortable fit for her, and it can be adjusted as she grows. A very easy process to order online, and a very prompt delivery within 3 days The only thing to complain about was the volume on the video, for fitting, as I'm a little deaf I struggled to hear, but other than that, it's a perfect fit. Thank you, would recommend without hesitation.”

“Our puppy Molly looks great in this little harness. Not as robust as hoped but does the job at the moment. Will continue to buy the new bits as and when needed. Good product for the price.”

Molly looks grand in her lovely pink harness. Thank you for sharing this, sue :) We do have a larger range of harness which have thicker straps and larger clips which may be more suitable as she grows. She may be a little small for it at the moment, but please do get in touch when it is time to upgrade as we will be happy to talk you through it. Wishing you many happy, beachy walks ahead!

“The order missed the delivery date, but I was given a refund promptly. Both of the leads are good quality. Both the harnesses are made well and do fit perfectly. I ordered Black hi viz as I do alot of road walking with my dogs on unlit roads. Unfortunately I didn't realise the hi viz stitching is only applied to the back piece. It would make sense to have the stitching included on the Y front piece so on coming traffic are able to see us. I have never been approached by traffic from the sky!!”

“Great service. But unfortunately I am having to return the harness as it is too small at the back but way too big at the front and my dachshund can still “escape” even in size xs.”

“The fit is really good there's a however and the clasps are very difficult to pop open and that maybe because we are older but doubt that as they are very stiff to open making getting it on and off somewhat difficult”

Thank you for your review, sue 😊 It’s great to hear that you find the harness sturdy enough for your pup. The harness can assist with pulling in many cases but is not an ‘anti-pull’ device as such, more of the first step into your training. A double ended training lead can be attached to the front and back D-rings of the harness. This can be helpful to give some gentle guidance from the front, whilst teaching loose lead training skills using positive reinforcement.

“A great idea to have a modular harness that can be updated as your dog grows. We bought a purple version for our little puppy and are very happy with the fit and soft texture on her little body. so much we went on to purchase the matching lead.”

“I love the product and I not only use the harness on my own dogs, but I also have my own business (Daykin and Scott Dog Training and Behaviour Services Ltd) and recommend Perfect Fit to all our customers. However, I have recently had one of my dogs break the top end of the harness (photo attached) and as I had ordered a new bottom piece for this harness I am now returning it as it is no longer required. All of my dogs have 2 Perfect Fit harness and this was her spare one so I was surprised it broke as it is not her everyday one”
