“I have used these harnesses with my dogs for several years. I like the fact that I can adjust the straps to give a 'perfect fit'. The fabric of the back section is comfotable for the dog, although my current dog hates wearing a harness. It is easy to throw the harness in the washing machine when the fields are muddy.”

“The Perfect Fit harness is just that - a perfect fit. We have one for our little puppy [his first harness] and one for our six year old dog. We would not use anything else, as they are so comfortable, lightweight and supportive of our dogs. We find they support the dogs in exactly the right place and make them [and us] feel secure when they are wearing them. I highly recommend this harness.”

“If you’d have asked me last year it would have been 5 stars. My dog finds these harnesses very comfortable, they don’t rub and with her bro g a sighthound, being able to get separate pieces means you really can get a perfect fit. We replaced for larger sizes of all three when she outgrew the first one (we purchased when she was a puppy). However the second one has not lasted well (baring in mind she’s not even two yet, so we have not had it very long!) and two out of the three pieces are broken. Only the back piece is still intact. Dissapointing, and not good value for money if these are breaking so fast. It is the plastic buckle areas that are breaking. She doesn’t swim with it on and it’s under her raincoat when she’s walked in the rain and we have generally taken very good care of it! So, sadly, we won’t be purchasing again”

Thank you for your useful feedback, Michelle. This is most unusual to see and certainly not what we would usually expect from our harness. We would like to replace these pieces for you, free of charge and will contact you directly to arrange this with you. With the intension of preventing this happening again, we may need to do a little investigating. It is most unusual for the webbing to fray and the clips to snap without some sort of external trauma. Whilst the harness is very durable, it is not indestructible and the scratches on the clip suggest that something might be rubbing on that area either whilst it is being worn or in storage, so it might be worth keeping an eye out in the coming weeks. Some other preventative tips that we suggest include: - Ensuring that your dog is supervised at all times whilst wearing the harness - Keeping an eye out for anything that could be rubbing on that area whilst your dog is wearing the harness (for example, we have had dogs who like to rub up against walls) or in storage. - Brushing off any dirt or grit from the harness after every use - Placing the harness in a wash bag in the washing machine and washing on a cool wash

“Really easy to use. It’s my second harness from Perfect fit. My first was good but now realise it was too big. The way they fit enables the dog to move freely.”

“I bought this front section of my existing perfect fit harness as the panel with the clasp on had split( I have had the harness for five years and it is worn twice every day). I really like the Perfect fit harness. Impressed that you can just replace each but rather than have to buy a full new harness. I would highly recommend it and very pleased with the product, company and speedy delivery.”

“The day my daughter introduced me to Perfect Fit harnesses qite literally chabged my life. My Cavalier King Charles boy Kym lost his leg at 4 months old and nightmare began, not because of the amputation but because it was impossible to get a harness that fitted him comfortably and didn't slide around his tummy when he walked. in that first 18 months i was buying a different harness every week and sometimes two or even once three. i spent easily £1500 on harnesses. My local charity shop loved my regular donations but Kym still wasn't able to enjoy his walks. Perfect fit are the big light at the end of my struggle. because of the mul;tiple different combinatios they fit my little tripod PERFECTLY. he loves his walks and people ask me where i get his array of colourful harnesses and i am extremely happy to point them towards Perfect Fit. i know also have a little chihuaua Chloe who even though is anly tiny in comparrisson to Kym is also proud to wear her array of colours on her walkf with him. She trots along by his side with her head held high. Thank you Perfect Fit for your PERFECT harnesses.”

“The original perfect fit harness had become a bit tight as our puppy had grown. So good to be able to replace the top section with the next size up and we now have a comfortable, well-fitting harness again. Well made and nicely padded, perfect for our walks together.”

“Fabulous harness for my little rescue dog I have been recommending Perfect Fit Harnesss for 3-4 years now as a client of mine had her three dogs in them and I was very impressed with how they conformed to the dogs. So other clients and friends have purchased them and they have been very impressed and delighted!”

“Fantastic quality and the only brand of harness that fits my boxer who has an incredibly deep chest but is petite elsewhere. I would give 5 stars if they fitted a handle at the back, like the Julius harnesses.”

“Used perfect harnesses for many many years now, absolutely perfect for our spaniels, currently have 2 but hoping for another rescue this year. Great product being able to buy the parts separately as we’ve had to replace the girth piece a couple of times over the years( our fault allowing rust on the ring that caused the webbing to wear through). Advice- rinse and dry throughly if they get salt water on them. Great choice of colours. Looking forward to choosing new colour/set as and when we get new rescue to our pack”

“Second time we've bought from perfect fit, we moved up the 40mm one as our Labrador is much bigger now. It's a lovely harness. We needed to try out a couple of different front pieces, which after we ordered the first full set, they sent an extra piece for us to try and all we get to do was send back the piece we didn't need. The customer service is brilliant, always had a reply within a day and so polite and helpful. Highly recommend perfect fit!”
